Homossexual Marriage in L2

Hello there, i was wondering if it's possible for me, a female Dark Elf to marry another female character.
So the question is: Is an homossexual marriage possible to happen in game?
If so did anyone already married someone of the same gender/sex?
If not could you give me some reasons for that not to be possible?

They did away with marriage in retail L2 completely

They should implement a NPC in each major Church that does marriages imo :D

Have like a super easy mini quest that gives marriage rings as a reward or something.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible :)
Currently ppl have been RPing the weddings since there's no real wedding system in L2.

Give you like a debuff like the Tar debuff, called "The Ol' Ball n' Chain"

When i used to play, marriage was possible
Is there any reason why they removed marriage in L2?, at least we had a free teleport
And what about Formal Wear, they still exist, are they used for something now?

It is possible, but by player means, not npc.

It was never in L2, you're confused with L1 where u could also teleport.
Formal wear still exist yes, ppl roleplay marriage.

there is the love boat cruise in Hiene for the sweethearts and the wedding song echoe crystal quest and formal wear and the new full dance emote we are getting all add up to people hooking up in L2 and L2 is a part of it! :D

... and as far as same sex unions; sure ... why not ... whatever gets you though your fantasy! ... same as *passes BEER! :D

We have the male toons known as Kletus and Nazad, who are both Light elves, in NOVA on Phoenix, that are married to each other. So they both know all about if it's role playing or an actual part of the game.
