Forts reset for Freya?

Just wondering if all forts will be reset on the launch of Freya? If so it's probably not worth us taking one until after launch. :(

And even if they reset where is the problem to take a fort now and again after 2 days?

Well I wanna take one now, might not be able to in Freya with the NPC levels going up. With big updates it's usual for stuff like forts to be reset.

afaik that happend only once .. and that was after the servermerge.

Yes, stuff like fortresses, castles, clan halls (even the ones you need to siege) do not reset when a new expansion comes around. Only a server merge causes a complete reset of everything.

Oldtimers should know better than to ask NCsoft NA questions on weekends :p

PS I think he's asking whether they will reset cause there's a lot of changes happening to forts in Freya. But to be fair, taking a fort would have been quicker than typing the question

Lol, most of time used to be spent on blah, not official. Back in the day there was enough people so that you didn't need to ask NC questions, official forums was just for news, patchnotes and pts. Just had memory of forts being reset for something so musta been merges. :p

But yeah rather have fort now before they change them. When my housemate got home took 30minutes so definately quicker than waiting for a reply. :p
