In this century i guess :P
Soon (TM)

It is widely suspected that it would be in the Dec 2010 time fame based on the history of other updates, but no official word has come out and I would not expect to hear anything for a few months.

Looking forward to it, but as others have said, first we need to get the merge out of the way :(

bd/sws got new skills this time.

not my bd
not my bd
was getting a new skill at first, but they took it away :(
so yeah only sws now
Well, there IS the "deadly bit" (shouldn't that be "deadly bite" or something?) melee skill, but that seems to be somewhat fail (low damage). I think BD actually get that, too. But I'd rather have the new dance they announced and then took away again, especially since they left in the new song for sws which was the counterpart for it >.<
Yes, both Swordsinger and Blade Dancer get Deadly Bit at lvl 40:

As far as the spelling is concerned, you can see in the topmost line on the screenshot 비트. The exact transliteration would be "biteu", so I chose "bit". The correct Korean spelling of "bite" would be 바이트 ("baiteu"). But we must keep in mind that not every Korean speaks fluent English, so "Deadly Bite" might have been intended. Let's see what the NCsoft translators make of it in the official English version :D

I don't know why they took the Blade Dancer skill Motion of Defense away again. It would have increased your P.Def. by 25%, M.Def. by 10% and Evasion by 3 points. Maybe in a later update :)
We'll see when it officially launches... but even then... another low powered skill worse then that of Sting is just a slap in the face....

and it sure doesn't make up for the lack of any worthwhile skills beyond remaining a dancing buff box in the background unable to deal required damage at all..... for the last 6+ major updates or more

Well, one look at e.g. the "throne root" lvl 80 se skill (aoe root which does damage over time) is enough to answer that... "Thorn root" would have been a more logical translation there. So I kinda do not trust their translation skills much :D
