what it says it is
passive - raises patk 20% when attacked

what it really is
trigger buff - raises skill patk by 20% and takes up a buff slot

i would like to get a GM to remove this from my skill list so i can quit getting overbuffed for 8 seconds of uslessness

also
epic quest says to go south gate oren and its spose to be south gate aden

ive tried to petition this stuff but i jus get a canned response that they are flooded w/ petitions and i need to write a novel b4 they will actually read what i wrote...

write a novel !!!! haahhahah + 1:P
... don't do it.
the in game petition system doesn't allow so much text to be put across.
sadly, trying to format the petitions into a nice easy to read step by step explanation just takes too long.
skill p.atk.... :/
so it should have been a vanguard-only passive instead.
Hi guys,

I might be missing something now but Iv been looking at my p.atk with and without this skill triggered, and I cant really see any diffrence in my p.atk.
because it's only for skills and not your regular attacks.
I quite like it personally. If you use with your skills it helps a bit :)

Bear in mind, the fact it takes a buff slot now in Freya will not matter when they introduce the trigger skill buff bar in next update.
+1 to rosalina..
ok...
so why has noone ever suggested it before...

make Trigger buffs not over buff you...
there are a lot of trigger buffs out there.
warrior haste, celestial, counter crit, those bow crits, probably daggers also...

why force people to only buff 18 buff slots?
just in case they trigger more than 2 triggers at once?

i mean toggles don't eat buff slots at all, maybe do that for triggers? but that's asking too much, so the more simple thing to do is make it so they just don't overbuff you.
as for reaction of trigger overbuffing trigger, i don't know...
I just did an in-game petition about this passive skill.
I have my stats window up and when the skill triggers for 8 seconds the personal attack does not change at all. I have been using blunts, swords, and poles and the skills triggers quite a lot. Nevertheless, it does not raise the p.attack by 20% at all as described.

This was reported as a not working properly in the PTS.

Knight skill Patience: A new skill that is not functioning properly yet.

Sace, this was reported in the PTS.
Now that we have Freya live, the skill still not working.
Do we do an in-game petition?
Any information on this?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Hi guys,

You are right, the skill is bugged. It was reported previously in the PTS and Sace listed as bugs in the PTS. We have Freya live now and it seems the skill is not working neither.
The skill description ingame says "increases SKILL patk by 20%". Thats not your patk, thats the patk value used (in calculations) when you use skills.
Use it like how a Dwarf uses their blunt trigger skill :)

Edit: If indeed it is meant to boost normal patk by 20%, then by all means thats great. But according to the ingame description it shouldn't change your patk value at all when triggered (only be used in calculation you don't see).
So, the description in-game is bad then?
It says "Increases P.attack by 20% when being attacked."

Thanks for the clarification. I was going by what the current description says.
If my class master would tell me that this skill increases skill p.atk, I wouldn't learn this skill.
The description of skill needs to be fixed so it is not confusing for people in the future.

It wont be, by the time they get around to do that the world will have ended in 2012

Why? 20% in judgement/tribunal and the upcomming shield damage skill is a good boost. If you just don´t get it you are loosing a chance to boosting your damage. And seriously it costs nothing on sp to get it, and triggers will have they´r own buffslots soon.
Soon = 6 months minimum :)
So I'd prefer to wait till High Five. I'm low lvl tank on sub, I don't go olympiad where this can be useful, and I have 80+ lvl wolf to deal damage, so buff slot for me is better.
You are a tank with a lvl 80 wolf.

How are you already getting overbuffed?

What 23 buffs do you have currently?
I'm lvl 70 tank, so it's only 21 buff slot on me yet and I exp in party, not solo, so I have DC, EE buffs, sometimes soulbreaker's master ability and so on.
I don't say that I really suffer from having this patience, but I'd rather not have it :)
Also, my situation ofc not common for others, so I can't say that tanks don't need this skill, I can only say about me :)
Noblesse, Prayer, Avatar, Iron Shield, Fire, Blood, Combat, Critical, Movement, Eagle, War, Protection, Spirit, mental, Deflect arrow, F will, combat aura, Chance haste, zerk, chance celestial and it's not all.

If I would have knew that it doesn't add any p atk I wouldn't have learned it. Either fix bugged skill to add 20% patk or remove it from my skills because currently I have no use of it and it takes precious buff slot.

I wouldn't mind waiting for High Five if it would be soon! But now it's like 6 months ++++ of waiting till we get this update so yes I have an issue. Specially when I'm about to ding 83 where I will need extra 2 buff slots for Pain of Shillen. I find this as a very big issue right now.

its not the next update yet so i will be getting overbuffed untill then...
20% patk to sting and judgement is LOL
its usable for vanguard at best... but who is using vanguard 80+ ?

the ingame description when going to learn the skill as well as in your skill window say " raises patk 20%" and its also marked as passive.... when the 8 second TRIGGER skill pops up is the only place it is marked as "skill patk"
off topic
im sure its a "feature" but not being able to drag a icon off your hotbar is stupid. atm you can only replace it w/ another skill/item whatever. it kinda make changing your bars a pain
