Wondering if I am the only one getting some debilitating lagg? I play on Teon from the US which has never been a problem before, but I got home from work today and logged in and had to wait litterally a full minute or more after clicking for any response from my character.
I noticed that the update server was moved to Dallas, but that's shouldn't affect anything in game.
I would have put this post in the Teon section, but sinse I don't know for certain that it's isolated to that server, or if it's just me, I placed it here.

I notice some big delays when I first log in, but after a minute or so it settles down. I'm assuming it's just something to do with a change in the client.
Same here, but not all the time. Sometimes when I log on, I notice the client going totally insane on the hard disk, task manager shows it loading tons of texture and map files. You literally cannot move, and sometimes it also takes ages for other players and npc to show up on screen. After a minute, everything settles down. Sometimes I already get that loading lag when going from the server selection to the character selection screen, and it causes the game client to disconnect because of the delay, so I have to log in again.
Yes, same here. Since recently I have big lag when I login. Picture freezes, PC making sounds like when searching for something big or numerous on hard drive, then in 1 min or so it all settles down. I didn't have such problems before.
P.S.: Franz server here.
I have had the same, and the only way to address it was to remove ALL the fancy graphics..
It seems that a lot more textures/stuff is being loaded now :(
I had the same the last days,i asked my clannies some said they'r ok and some said they lag,it wasnt lag spikes,''freezes'' but a delay between pressing any button and see the toon acting.I had 3 accounts open and the delay was almost constant in the main toon while the others could move normaly. Some times i saw mobs running like they had shadow step on me :P
When i died i decide i put a shop untill lags go away.

Mine is similar, but not the same. I have L2 pinned to the start menu, from the time I launch that application to the time I am selecting a server is about 3 seconds. The trouble starts when I select a character. I can select one, click confirm, and then wait about 20 secons. Then I am in game. Once everything is loaded, which takes anywhere from 5-15 seconds, I can click to direct the character. The little blue ainmatons flashes to indicate the targeted destination and nothing happens. Sometimes for as long as 2 minutes! then my character will just appear at the location. After about 20 minutes (which is how long it took to get from the Aden GK to the Warehouse). I decided to play something else while Lineage deals with it's issues. I clicked exit, and had to wait literally like 5 minutes to exit the game. I was this close to just closing the **** process.
All other online games run normally so I can essentially outrule my connection. The only thing I have left to troubleshoot is logging on a new server and seeing if there is any difference.
i had some major issues last night. i was rubber banding all over the place in hellbound. not sure if it was server side or not, but it was definitely odd.
I'm getting a lot of freezes today... not constant lags, but freezes for like 5-10 seconds :(

And I'm not losing packets from other servers in USA (I can't ping l2 server, but I ping other servers in the same state...) so I don't think it's probably in my connection, maybe somewhere in the route...

The moment I log into Teon the game comes to a crawl. The ping is tripple what it used to be.
This is UNACCEPTABLE!
I am missing valuable in game time during an event. Whatever NCsoft has done their servers needs to be fixed STAT! this is day 2 of such unbearable lag that it makes the game unplayable. I have never had a beef with NC before this, but right now I am being robbed. I know I don't own my character, or the items, or the experience, but the EULA is very clear the the 1 thing NCsoft is giving me, is access to the darn servers to play. As a paying customer, I expect to be compensated for 2 days of being unable to play because of a server error. and I expect the problem to dissapear on the quick!
I am experiencing the same, all of the servers are close to 100 ping but the Euro servers are close to 250 ping or so, funny enough I play on bartz and that is the only american server i get with 2xx ping, so I am guessing they moved Bartz to Europe!
Ping on Franz is 111(lowest i ever got was like 98)but yet delay is annoying most of the hours.I used to play on servers with higher ping and still lower lag.I'll sent a ticket just to see what they will answer,in my expirience,everytime a event or update or merge is on theway,lag strikes!

And you just said that you have access, so your arguement is invalid..
Just going to put this out there.. the NA server and the Euro servers are in two different locations..... so.. that could mean that there is something that is causing your lag.
