I've decided to use the name of one of my other characters on a different account for my main, since my main has a naming conflict. However, it takes 7 days to delete the other character. Will I still be able to change the name by the next server down period, or must I choose a name now, or else?
Before this merge, i had toons from the previous merge that still hadn't been renamed...so I'd say you can take as long as you want, unless they've for some reason changed something...

some of my toons I was able to get the names back right away... others.. had to spend time thinking of a new name.
