Seriously not the way NCSoft should handle business.
With all of the questions over the past months regarding what will happen with the clan halls I'm sure NCSoft knows the concerns and importance of the clan halls.
I'm sure it's an error that happened during the emergency maintenance this morning and it will get reset SOON (tm).
But then again, NCSoft in the past has done things like this without regard to player's concerns; it's one of the reason why players don't freely trust NCSoft to look out for their interest. Kind of like the bot infestation that began in C2 and still runs freely.

Lol if this was deliberate it is going to make the TW badge incident look like a walk in the park in terms of the fallout if bots get all the clan halls.

I bet it was their plan exactly. Why trouble yourself by examining each clan's activity and stuff, when you can just open an auction un-announced and see who comes first? (Because the one who comes first must be clearly the most active and worthy. LOL)

Oh and I bet there will be an official update on this issue, saying: "We forgot to inform players that the recent clan hall auctions have been held by mistake, so, the clan halls will be locked again, and all the bidded money will NOT be reimbursed. Sorry for inconvenience."

As some players said above there is already bits of clans with 3-4 members and level 3 to 5(understand bots / RMT guys ) whatever.... If ncwest dont fix this in the next 24 hours will be just horrible. But as you said i also start losing faith very fast.
why not have it so any clan that did bid on the auction loses what they bid because they were well aware that there were to be no clan halls for bid in the first place...

They most likely couldn't just stop the auctions so the GMs put place holders on them to win them so you guys can't.
ROFL mate come and look at naia the name of bidder. You will be surprised that most of the bidder had name Jaosanli or HaoMaoTiTo. Seems like farmers/RMT noobs or whatever they are but definetly not a bloody GM will use this nicks.....
Relax, they probably forgot to put adena in the cwh of the place holder clans. They can end those auctions rather easily. I'm certain they are not going to allow ch bidding right now.
Don't bother bidding on the clan halls. We're in the process of locking them down again. The halls are not going to be auctioned, and we did not open them for bidding. Unfortunately when we brought the servers up last night the bidding opened and we're just now closing it down. If anybody gets a clan hall today we'll take it back and fully reimburse them. So don't tie up your Adena, we're not going to allow them to be auctioned.

Everyone crying about the clan halls should of been up when they opened and i think it is fair the way it happend. cuz the high level clans can take castles and keep them and the are maxed out so ncsoft sould let the medium level clans keep the clan halls

I want to let you know that Territory War badges will not be replaced. We incorrectly communicated to Sace that all Territory War related items would be kept, but in fact, only the items purchased with Territory War badges were kept, and badges were removed. We are very sorry for this miscommunication.

Lineage2 is an incredibly complex game. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of quality checks that need to be performed. Sometimes things get missed, especially when there are manual alterations made like what happened with the clan halls being manually held.
The CMs are doing a fantastic job....actually a perfect job...of representing the player community and taking care of things as needed. Just be patient. Let's hope things go as well for the manor seeds and the TW badges.

She can clearly see the link to her mail reply in this thread and know that info was shared with this thread's readers.
As often is the case, if she posts a reply now with limited information, it wont satisfy players. If she pushes too hard for info from the developers, she may get incomplete or incorrect info, which can make the matters worse. The safest thing to do is wait a bit and be certain the information shared is solid. This issue began less then 12 hours ago. While we all want an instant fix, life often doesn't provide it.
PS. To be clear, I am very unhappy this issue came up, but the response so far has been reasonable. Just saying we should wait a couple days. If at that time we still don't have a formal reply, then we can all dogpile on Sace and I'll gladly jump in! :P
Hi all.this post is not attented to offend anyone but would like to say my peace on this matter.I see people and have talked to people that bid on clan halls.Looks like they been trying for years to get ahead in game and they finally think they have a clan hall and now told it will be taken from them.What i am a bit lost on is that looks to me like ncsoft will be giving clan halls to clans that are large immortals,enmity,rdawgs ect.. all of which are probally active but have read alot about these clans.Chars getting banned every other week from them botting .OFC there active 24/7 makes them that way.like i said this is not attended to make people mad just want to say it really looks fair at this time.Looks like it is a equal amount of clans from each server that has placed a bid.Really would hate to see ncsoft reward clans thats have had chars in there that made them so active.Thanks for listening
