I just got to my first class transfer for Elven Wizard and I have a couple of questions I couldn't find the answer to so far.
I have the two unicorns, do I predominantly use Boxer at this stage because of the XP used by Mirage? I read in L2pets that Boxer is the grinding pet, Mirage more the PvP one? Also, do these still consume crystals and if so do I need to have crystals (Spirit crystals?) in my inventory? So far I was able to summon Boxer with just Spirit Ore, but I didn't have him out long.
I also leveled a wolf with me from 15 but I guess that one is useless for a summoner down the line? I guess I could use it to 40 while the summons are down..
Also, what would be good armor to go withfor the wizard. Currently I am in NG-Tunic of devotion, what would a good D armor be for a wizard?
Don't use your summons, not unless you are going to be a summoner, and only then don't use your summons till like 52. You only want to be nuking at your level, getting them to kill is ridiculously slow and pointless.
And no matter what path you do, a wolf is rather useless with a nuker type class. You can't have it out at all if you are going to be a summoner, and with a nuker you're going to kill stuff before the wolf can get to the mobs.
As for armour, stick with the NG devotion set, (helm, pants and tunic) And use it till like C grade or higher, depending how much money you have.
PS: Summons don't use crystals any more, only spirit ore. Just thought I'd mention that.

Soo, many questions sooo little time.... I gtg on a trip....
Try get some raidgroups and u will be lvl 40 in 2 days... Devotion is good for castspeed... Use the wolf if possible... at least untill he is lvl 55 great wolf, he will be worth alot of cash then. at this moment armor is not such a big factor cause your summons are taking the hits I believe?
