In an effort to pull the community together and form a bond, in your signature indicate when your account expires. You don't have to indicate if you are going to Purchase Additional Time or not, maybe someone will get the hint if enough people indicate in a subtle and polite way.

It's more like, "we continue to pay, they should continue to do what they need to in order to make us want to continue to pay to play."
My acct expires on 10/09/10, will I or wont I renew? It depends on a lot of things, some things pertain to the game and some pertain to RL. In order for me to continue to pay, there needs to be a desire for me to want to pay to play.

I will continue to play until the servers die because there's much more that I like about L2 beyond NC, so I will gladly take the items from all the people that will quit. I'll take w/e from NG to S84 grade, including crafting mats, eppas, scrolls, buff potions etc... don't bother asking me if I want this or that just mail them to me name is the same as here in forums. If a person was really fed up with customer service or lack thereof they would just leave. They would not care anymore or waste their precious time logging on to the forums to warn the 5-8% of the Lineage 2 customer base that actually reads the forums of their earth shattering decision.
When you are truly finished with something you don’t care about the items, time lost, money spent or demanding what needs to be done to change your mind. You get the hell out and don’t look back.
well yes I plan I will play Lineage II till I want but if it will can save the Lineage 2 in our region if I join too the "Playable Until Team" I will do it.

+1 to the intent but honestly putting in my sig my next pay date will do nothing, so my sig is changed with my true & honest position about L2 right now.

After 6.5 years of L2 and working with NC Soft you guys don't get it.
On the one hand, I do agree there are significant things NC Soft West can do to improve customer service, on the other hand we must recognize they have made huge improvements from the past.
Either way NC West has never once bent to any pressures from the playing community about account cancellations. If each person who posted in this thread, along with their entire clans cancelled their L2 subscriptions, there will be ZERO influence into game policy. ZERO.
The playing community has complained for years about bots, ebay, over-powered classes, GMs, game fairness, and many other issues. In each case NC Soft West does what they can (i.e. what they want/are willing to do) and in their time frame as they see fit.
No matter what you do, no matter what I do, Lineage2 will still be played. It will still be played 5 years from now even if the servers are basically dead. Lineage 1 is still played today. That says enough on it's own. Your "omg listen to my QQ or I quit!" posts are pure childish. It's no different then a child who cries until you give him his toy. Perhaps try something more constructive???

I lost count of cases where a well-known botter (or a bunch of botters) would get rightfully banned, then asked his botbuddies to start petition-spamming NCsoft telling the same copy-pasted story of how cool and totally innocent he was, and how many people would leave the game immediately, should NCsoft not retract their decision.

In most cases, the cheaters did get unbanned.

indeed, i refer to the case of the group who was petitioned and banned about 3 years ago, right around the time Akahige was first with us. the group whined, moaned, made zillions of accounts and qqd over the forums so much that they were unbanned.
then the leader made a PUBLIC STATEMENT of his FORMIDABLE botting techniques and went right back to being banned.
