We're coming up on a week since the merge and so far.. things have not been as good as I had hoped.
All the good (and even not so good) hunting areas are taken, lag is rampant and the difference between "have" and "have not" is getting larger (i.e. clan halls & Oly matches). Out clan is gonna try a siege & see how that goes. Should be fun!
This isn't supposed to be a "QQ" an "I'm leaving" post, but its disturbing to me. It's making me think if I want to keep playing or not... and I've been here for 6+ years.
I would have rather seen 2 NA servers, but it's FAR too late for that.
On the part of EU server, i think it is better than expected.
We managed to find exp places in areas where bots are not easy to setup, besides wait for catas to open, the problem will ease then.
OTOH all forts are taken, this problem will also ease a bit after CHs are released to bots and they will have CH BSOE and not need fort anymore, also castles will have probably at least in beginning real owners not alt clans to assert their status, so, again, will be easier for legits to have a fort.
NA server is heavy when ours is light, it must be terrible there, I suggest legits in NA to move in EU server, the sieges/tw will not be at bad hours, noon instead of evening, and in time we can make a legit server and a PvP one or, at least, most legits in one server, most PvPers in another.
After all, they want PvP and they could find it much easier in NA server and we want a better ratio legits/bots and we could get it in the EU server.
Anyway, this will pass, no worry, in a few weeks first round of bots will quit after being owned hard in sieges and PvP, most from Franz and Luna which had it easy before, I think about 5-10% will leave then, as well as perma AFK ones will find it hard to level and will actually lose level if they dont go special places designed for bots where exp is low and maybe a few % of those will quit too, so the problem will be easing in 1 month visibly. Unfortunatelly, some legits will also quit, but hope not many, encourage your clannies, explain them it wont last and it is at least one more year till next and last merger, so hang on :)

I love the new server, although I had to pk bots for hunting spot. So far, I sold 2 billion worth of merchandises in 3 days... and bought 2 billion of stuffs otherwise would have cost 3billion on bartz... I just hope this server can stay the way it is, and no one quits...
The thing that needs to be addressed is lag. It is affecting gameplay in a negative manner. They need to improve this. Also we need a clone of Giran to accomodate all shops. :p
