Bot Reports - new protocol?

Now that the NA team does not have to split its time amongst so many servers, would there be a new protocol for calling attention to bot groups?

Presumably if the NC team is working, they are available online on the server.

Here is my first suggestion: go check Imperial Tomb's insect rooms. There were 3 bot groups there.

I'm sure a routine walk through of the catacombs would be fruitful as well.

I wish they would just, like port to your location or the location of the co-ordinates that they give so they can just confirm what you are seeing and log it into the report instead of just giving your a copy and pasted message while the bot walks around trying to nuke mobs with Akamanah lol.

NCsoft thought they did a good job before on the bots so you sir are crazy if you don't think they will down size the gm team for 2 servers now.

More are on the way, Dwarf town had a large number running around doing CCQ the other night.

Would love to see that when a person is banned for botting, EVERY single account that person has is also banned, and not only banned, but deleted too. Thats the only real way to scare some of these cheats to stop doing what they are doing. The little minnie ban that some people get is an absolute joke. Unfortunately there are already alot that have gotten as high as they can possibly get and dont need the assistance of a program to get them their lvls. Even so, we still know of plenty that use 3rd party programs that are not just for lvling. Sad thing is, NC seems to look past all this now because they know the game does not have many years ( if that) left, so they are trying to get all the money out of its users that they can before the game is over.

bots in MoS lol training them is so easy or just change the whole room to Magus type and see how well they do, even if it's in the smaller rooms just take the mobs to them and voila..

lot spot with lot bots mos, gc, varka, it and propably and in more spots..... evytime that i go in that spots i see and lot parties with afk xp. i think when cata will open propably we won't be able to find room in cata...

it's almost laughable how crazy the botting is right now

If you spot a "suspicious" character(s), report it thru petition. Type /GM *bot(s) name* is botting at *spot on the map*. They will investigate the char(s) and stuff like that. If you spot a full bot party just need to report one of the group.

don't report just one name, type in correctly all, and current time, and do /loc for current location. If you only report 1 in a group a file will only be open for 1 of them. not all of them.

Is the bot report button useless? Cus thats what I've been using. I see them so often I just put it on my hot bar

It's not completely useless, just completely innefectual. It would work if botting was a very rare occurance... but when it's rampant... it doesn't do what it needs to.

If I remember well, it was a GM that said on forums to ppl do what I said above. You don't need to write exact location, the most important thing is the exactly name of the toon, cuz once the GM have the toon name they can direct teleport straight to the toon. The group thing is that if you write only one toon name, all the other toons in the group are investigated as well, again said by a GM.
