I know, that you said that you are not sure, when exactly will be server transfers enabled, but can you just tell us, if you are plannig to enable it in near future? Because after server merges I have big problems with ping on EU server (from 120 it raised to 380 and that's not playable!!), so i decided to tranfer to US, because I have there like 160 ping now.. I think, that it's not only my problem, so i hope, that you will enable soon :)

Did you try submitting a support ticket yet? Perhaps they can help you correct the ping issue before you take the drastic step of a server transfer.
We are working on arranging free server transfers to be available in the coming weeks. We do not have an exact date yet. Once we have a confirmed date, we will post more information, including how many codes players will get, when they will get them, and how long they will last.

will this transfer follow the old transfer rules or will we have our entire character moved with all weapons, inventory, augments, etc?
i dont see why moving the entire char is out of the question when we just performed the merge we did.

At least make some changes in it. Don't let american player transer to Naia and don't let european player transfer to chronos. If it is available than try to check that this player who want use server transfer service check, that he is legit or not and if not bann him after the transfer or before.

Wtf are you talking about? Have you forgotten that America still has troops overseas which would single handedly support American players on Naia due to ping?
Also, why the whole spew about legit? What test will they do? Something more than they do now?
We just merged 6 servers to 1 and 3 to 1, i dont see how any transfer would throw either server more out of wack than they already are.

There is in game an attribute : Legit {yes|no}
Unlegit change that attribute when they start using scripts! :p
but saying "check all transfers as legit or not" is about as useless of a suggestion as one can make. by what means will they check the character if it isnt logged in? check what packets being sent to the server? check the items traded to them over the past 2 weeks? look at where they xp at? what means will they use to check these characters?
currently our GM staff can barely check unlegit players that people find and petition, and show up 2 hours later to do a mass check of the area which ends up killing you, the legit player who found the bots and got angry and pk'd them, which in result kills you from a lag out D/C.
and now you want GM's to spend 20 minutes of their day investigating each character that applies for a transfer when they force merged 1000's of players together without any regard for their legitness, gear, adena, etc?
this suggestion sounds like too little too late. the merge through all servers into chaos via top clans/pvp/xp spots/etc. there is not one clan that could transfer from Naia to Chronos or Chronos to Naia that would affect the server to the point of breaking.

Sace, I hope you, in the role you have, understand how this game, Lineage2 is played. A play style that has grown for several years with alternative toons acting buffers and mules, holding gear and materials. The only really good service NCsoft can offer related to the server merge is an account move. Move the whole account for those who want to move.
Looking at the server merge, we know that this is possible. Euro ppl stuck on NA servers ant the other way around, because they can’t move their wealth (gear and mats) is something that will force them to stay where they are.

Oh, such a nice update. You do mean the part where its explained that yet again NCSoft has failed to deliver on their game development? Everyone already knows NCSoft NA is not capable of doing what ever it is they are doing. Lets not forget, nowhere within that post is a date, its all broad open "guesses" as to what is going to happen.

I look forward to the day, where NCsoft answers are not taken out of a text book and they just talk to us like common mates.

We should have free server transfers open within the next 30 days if they don’t it would be due to the following reasons (List them)
Or Account services aren’t available because of this but we should have them next Monday would be better than some generic statement that really just leaves you back at square one.

what you mean by that ? from what I read it will be a free transfer as a one off for anyone so not just euro's from chronos to naia and usa from naia to chronos but all to all.. ?
aka just talk in clan and decide based on feedback if you go or not, it's really up to your friends if they come along or not..

have you not seen posts by Cabel? his customer service skills are lacking, and thats putting it nicely.

1. Give no post, no update and have her inbox flooded with pm after pm of people yelling at her, cussing her out, demanding updates, and making repeat threads on the forums? This then results in the moron Cabel coming and making a even more moronic post lacking any sort of compassion and basically telling us all to screw ourselves, which results in an even bigger outrage that Sace then has to deal with.

2. Post something to let the masses know she hasn't forgot about us, that their team is "supposedly" working on it, and that they just need more time. She then appeals to half of the users who understand her position and then only has to deal with a smaller amount of morons like yourself who proceed to post pointless comments on the forums basically insulting her hard work.

I completely understand that Sace is doing a better job then has ever been done in the past, HOWEVER, I still feel that "better" is not "good". I was not trying to insult or "hate" on anyone. I'm merely trying to voice my opinion on that matter in the best why I know how. I honestly couldn't care less where the bottom of the ice burg lies. I do, however, know that the information given to us on these forums are pretty close to useless in almost every form possible.
Yes, I read these forums quite often and have for a long, long time. I haven't posted until recently due to the frustrations that have arisen from numerous "things".
