What about getting faster response time on bots? Obvious cat is obvious some days (ie when i kill the leader of the pack and the pack stands there like idiots for 4 hours after i petition with bd/sws going or heals on the group going when getting hit?)

There are rumours that the extra hour will be used for returning our items, but i dont think this is the case. However, some clarifications wont hurt.

one wonders, now that there are only 2 servers, if the 2 hrs that was previously spent maintaining 11 servers (then 7) is still necessary?
to clean up DB's and defrag/reboot a system shouldnt take more than half an hour at most, specially for the win xp servers you lot have been running since C4.

calm down, reset is a one time only thing, people aren't getting a 3rd one.
The News Informer will not allow a player to take the Epic Quest a 3rd time. He is here to allow players to do it a 2nd time only.

It's not unfair at all; everyone is being given a chance to complete the quest twice. There is no intention of letting any players reset the quest and do it a third time. If a player has already done it twice, then they have gained as much reward as is possible from the News Informer. Perhaps you are asking, when can we offer players to complete it three times? It is possible that in future game updates, the News Informer will allow players to reset and complete the a third time, but I cannot guarantee this yet.

I am confused on how this worked.
I did Epic before Freya, once Freya came I went to NPC and took quest again. There was no need to talk to news informer. Besides it was saying when I talked to it later that quest can be done only once...
I didnt finish quest second time, been terribly busy farming for CH and growing the clan and now with event, but i suppose that once started it can be continued at any time later.

If you are giving second chance now for 7s quest, without announce before, just suprise, add news informer in december too... I didn't got 79 on one of my char yet and I had a hope that he will be later. I just want a second chance too on this char... :\
i had the same problem when i tried to change my name with visa... then i tried paysafe and it worked fine...!!
I had lots of issues with cards not working so I buy time cards now, dont want to be surprised during siege that suddenly the card which was good for years became "suspicious", being Romanian citizen is not fun...

The News Informer will be back until next Tuesday's maintenance, and after that we won't see him until the next game update is launched. If you've completed the whole quest series once before, you will only need to speak to the News Informer once to get the quest status reset.
Noticable lags started after Tuesday's maintenance. Please re-check the changes you made this time. Sieges were just fine, even inside of 300+ people battle and now it's hard to move with only 2-3 parties around. Also some server-side freezes for 10-15 seconds for whole command channel (or also whole server ?/).

Yes, server lags are annoying. Server freezes are deadly for most people in dangerous places. Just make healers click on heal even in freeze, it saves *a part of body we sit on* very often.
I'm not surprised that you didnt notice the changes coz with your party settings you dont need to watch at the screen ^^ Next time try to read carefully to see the difference between a lag for one player and for about 40 people from all over the world at the same time.

Yup, the lag is bad, I've had to start back to playing my GK instead of my StormScreamer sub.
