Currently it seems no one can log into L2. Those who are already logged in are able to play normally. I've confirmed this issue with many members of our ally.
What sucks most is it is Sunday and the response time for NC Soft is usually very slow on weekends. I wish there was an emergency means for us to be able to contact nc soft on weekends for these type of issues.
It looks like it's only the European IPs from what I can tell(everyone who's posted so far has either a location in Europe, or doesn't have 1), somebody in my clan told me the servers were up, but I still can't log in.

not true, I am US player and I cannot log in, same issue.
checked the IP address of the l2auth server and the GG server, both ping the same IP for those already logged in and those who cannot log in
and for those asking...you can post all you want and make this 100 page post, it's not like the server tech guys have a forum acct with an alarm that alerts them when a post exceeds 3 pages or anything. It's Sunday 3:56 a.m. PST which is the time zone for Seattle WA where Sace and the US office of NC West is located. We can hope the server team will get an alert when the server population drops below a certain level, or when a long enough period of time passes without anyone logging in. Otherwise it will be a long wait with a lot of QQ

I also had some lag, my box d/c not being able to log-in anymore. But my main remained in game and could play further. The people already logged in are ok as long as they don't log-off.

I have a friend who was just able to login from Russia, but can only connect to Naia and not Chronos server, interesting. Before 10 mins ago he couldn't login either. So the problem may be being worked on already.
