Hey guys I'm new to the game, I have made a Spoiler he is at lvl 25 right now, made him so I can Crush things as well as farm extra materials using the Spoil feature. I do find his damage to be quite low, and sometimes boring to play, but he will be a good source of income for me.
I was wondering what Melee Class Can burst out the most damage the fastest? I was looking for a alt to lvl up at the same time that would be geared towards PvP, doesnt have to be melee I guess but I haven't found mana potions or anything in this game and mana regen is quite poor.
your dwarf class is undergoing a big change soon, to allow him to be a dagger-oriented damage dealer. this should help you out in about 6-9 months down the road.
in terms of good melle burst damage, it really does all depend on buffs. overall the Tyrant is very good, Doombringer a close second.
stick to your dwarf, though. for now try levelling a wolf along side your dwarf. you should find that the wolf (especially at higher levels) will greatly increase your damage capacity, and be a great assist. you can even ride him at 70.
I would highly recommend you level that dwarf to at least A grade before you reroll, this way you will have enough money to try out each possible class you would like up to c grade without any money issues.
at early levels with good armor/weapon, yeah. insane damage output. but as a newbie idk if that class would be a good start for someone with no money :<

bro...uninstall L2 and erase NCsoft webpage from cache.. :) its devils game... :D you are starting in a dying (in EU/NA) game... check this page for something incoming and new...with ppl who realy want to take care of the game and keep it for real players and not bots.. http://www.mmorpg.com/
P.S. back in 2004-2006 when bots could be killed and dropped stuff it was a "tollerable" piece of s..t in game... :-)

Played several MMO's that had the 'dying' status- all of them are still online, and even more played than before. Sure, if people like you emoragequit crying that the game's gonna die. But, who cares- you don't want to play anymore- just don't do it. The doors are open, you can leave any minute.

loled again... L2 NA/EU had in the past how much servers ? how much players ? how much servers and players it has now ? Does not look too vital for me...Korean or Russian L2 server looks vital...its just fact..not emorageqq (looks like you like to cathegorize ppl to be emo..maybe based on observing yourself?)..just facts...

server numbers doesnt mean too much really. lots of those "old" mmo's still get new players (yes there are people who have never played everquest, or anarchy online, or ultima online) and they have gone through the considerable rise, and steady decline that all mmos go through.
we had 3 servers to start with.
a whopping 3. after unexpected player number spikes, we went up to 10. from there we opened EU servers starting with Teon. then Franz, then Luna. after a while like that we had to merge.
perhaps with the awakening system and the new NCNA team we will see a north american promotion and spike back to a healthy 6 or 7 servers again - who knows, only time will tell.

It happens to every MMO with time. The last previous 2 MMO's had undergone merge's. No time to wine, it's us- the players, who can rebuild the community. And you are just doing the opposite thing :).

you tell me im bot ? i think youre the one who should be on blah now... i wasnt just trolling the newbie about leave before too late... ive started play L2 when this game had low level fun..now all is focused on hihglevel players and more and more locations are reworked to be usefull for 80+ characters/parties.. for me it was fun at lvl 40...50..60 and 70 as well at that time...all this will new player never experience...like...raidboss parties at low level are rare like cursed weapon drop.. :)

Welcome to Lineage 2, glad to see new bloods. Speaking of hence, it is - A lot easier to gain lvls and xp after the great new effort being put by both GM's and events. Easier to find groups and many clans out there who may help you out.
A few notes:
1. A newbie can join a clan and test out all classes out there. In our clan there are many who did just that, we just provide everything to them, including low level RB parties someone complained about.
2. L1 is still alive and getting updates. With then new bot policy (if it will be further improved as we go) there are many chances to get more and more ppl in L2 from the wonderful marketing tool which are the free servers. I am observing the newbies and asking them questions, almost all come from there and even considering bringing their friends, some already did. The fact that bots are not so visible at low levels is very encouraging for them as they see the problem is not so big as it once was. However, the ones that are already higher level hit the wall of bots in sieges and are not so sure anymore, but in time I hope that will change and more and more cheaters will either stop or get purged if they cant adapt to play like "tards".
3. ATM the dropout rate for the high level bots that met better peers in the merged servers tends to be balanced by the newbies and that category will soon run out, I mean there wont be any more dropouts for PvP reasons, this means bans can intensify because the population wont go down, but has a chance to even get higher, holidays are coming and it is a great time to show tot he world L2 in NA/EU is trying to clean up their act and provide a fair game where a real person can play casual and still make some progress, albeit slow.

Ignore the lineage is a dying game posts and decide for yourself.
It is a maturing game with a major revamp around the corner. It’s fun to play even those who will tell you it’s not, still find it fun to play because they still play!
Biggest thing I can tell you as a new player is, it’s a game with long time scales. With this in mind I would urge you to try all the classes you like the sound of at least up to level 21, as that is very easy with newbie guide available here
You should be able to try them all within a few days.
When you found one you really enjoy playing level it up to 40 and study the skill lists, air towards the skills you like most and post here again for player opinions on your shortlist.
L2 is a great game and I think if you pick the right class you will really enjoy it!
Final note, avoid the morons and find the good, nice and helpful players. EVERY mmo has an equal share of both.
