A clan leader that got hacked said he got it there.
Or maybe he's just grasping at straws. Many thousands of people use our wiki daily and there has yet to be any reports besides this of anyone getting anything. Our ads are screened and nothing is there. Don't know why you're spreading baseless rumours.
Maybe your clan leader was somewhere else he wasn't supposed to be?

They are trolls and are making fun of Slycutter to put it simply they are *****.

i'm not.
i'm 100% super serious. my old clan leader, the admin of L2rpa, was recently hacked. he suspects he picked up the trojan from EOGamer. i don't know how he came to this conclusion, but he did. this particular clan leader to my knowledge doesnt own a blah account, either.
i think it may be an embedded ad on both sites. nobody on blah has taken this thing seriously enough to go check all their content, and their code server side for the actual factual viruses being spread. nor indeed has EOGamer. i dont even think LC can do a server side virus check.
fact is between both sites something big has recently put the keys of a lot of L2 players into the hands of malicious users. it also could be brute force ****. however that approach seems unlikely.
neither sly nor my old clan leader play or condone private servers either. they would not have input their stuff into those sites.

Considering there's some highly anti-EOGamer elements working with L2RPA, I find it highly suspicious. But we've checked again just to be sure, no malware, no virus and no reports of anyone being hacked by the thousands of users.

We do and we have. Its a bit harder with ads, as they're external, but we do regularly check them anyway.
We will still continue to monitor the situation, as we take your security serious.

My apologies, I had assumed you had jumped on the band wagon.

in that case is it possible to find and isolate what ads are common to you and Blah?
Go make guides from quests from the last 2 chronicles not old onces.
There are newer guides too. But as such, we can't just magically pull guides out of our butt, we have to do the quests and write them and we're not necessarily the right levels or have the right gear/clan/etc. to handle it.
You're welcome to write and contribute though if you do anything thats missing, then at least someone else can get something out of it.
If noone contributes, then it even more information is lost and the game will be even more lost than ever.
One thing that would help a lot is to update your master quest list to show the correct/new starting level requirements and start npc. The patch notes show some of this but it's spread over several updates. If the quest has changed completely, the old guides should be removed.
This might encourage people to help making new guides, maybe mention that on the list page :)

Good point, thanks for bringing that to our attention.
The old guides aren't completely removed, but though removed from the lists and marked as being no longer active. To keep a record of how things were.
Just because a player complained doesn't make it so. I am pretty sure they go to many other places too where they could get infected, if they were. (and weren't covering over going to shady sites or using leveling services)
Not to mention some players have personal dislikes and as such would be happy to spread false rumours.

Are you saying ppl that frequent your site also tend to use leveling services?

Done! I've updated the Master Quest List ( http://l2.eogamer.com/wiki/Master_Quest_List) with the corrected information and removed old guides that don't apply anymore. The lists that are organzied by level and town still need a bit of work, but i'm on it ;)
