I just received an email from our good people at NCSoft about a free reactivation, so i just went for it, updated to Freya, and here i am again for a couple of weeks, or maybe more !!
So, what's new here since ... well, about a year now ??
Are Drakkos, Spudnick, Jkoster (Olorae) still around ?
As for me, i still had all of my character names available (yeaaah for Grazzt and his Shillien Empire clan), even with the massive servers merge, so i'm quite happy about that, and i even got a free name-change that i always wanted form "Zaar" to "Zaarr" :)
Anyway, i found myself still enjoying the game after a bit of playing it (the mobs trying to talk me out of killing them was really funny), except (i know that was my usual rant) the very slow xping at some levels...
My Zaarr character is lv.52, which is not *that* high i guess, but even with full Vitality, 1 mob = 0.25% XP ... come on, that means 4 mobs for just 1%, that means 400 mobs for one level ... and i guess it gets even harder with each level ...
Honestly, i had more fun with my little lv.25 Elfie and all of her Newbie buffs...
(and please dont tell me to "go and play WoW", because that's exactly what a lot of ppl did and i guess that's why we only have 2 servers left now...)

and yeah 400 mobs 1 lvl? haha have fun at 76 or 78
also quest for 3rd profa kill 700 mobs? i did and not even 3% went up lol :P
find a cool clan and party up with them and dont look at vitality system its a turn off :P
lvl up with no vitality and if u have some, think its like a gift from NCsoft hehehe
oh btw, get reccomendations its another 50% bonus to exp...

by the way WHAT IS WOW? why ppl talk about it? is that a game?
You should find the grind is a bit easier now at those levels, but yeah the game is still Grind Grind Grind. Just try not to look at the XP bar :) It might drive you crazy.

Never really understood why in the first place by the way ... if i remember correctly, it all started when i wanted to create a sub-clan inside EoD with my Dark-Elven-only Shillien Empire stuff or something, then some paranoid dudes started imagining all kinds of crazy things...
with the old crew now gone off you'll probably have some success. talk to him at the well. if you can find him
