Best support class

So my main is Tyrant, currently level 48, and I've decided to make 2 alts the cycle through so at one point in time one will have close to full vitality. Making easy leveling and technically no loss of exp just being able to level 3 characters at the same time :)

Since my main is a DD, I want to make a Tank and a Support class.

I have chosen a Paladin to be my tank, currently doing his class change at lvl 20, and was debating what support class to go for the other alt, any suggestions?
I have a suggestion, forget alts and vitality and go exp your main.

Failing that define support. BD is support that can kill stuff, Prophet is support that can't. Personaly I 'd make an Overlord just for the heck of it.
This all really boils down to preference and what you plan to use them for... Honestly, if you're looking for an overall buffer, I like prophet, but others will tell you warcryer. OL's are really cool but they don't have the greatest buffs for exp'ing, they're missing a lot of the exp buffs (like haste for example, if I'm not mistaken).

Search the forums for this topic, you'll probably find 50 (or more) other threads debating this same topic LOL :)
Alts? Are you addicted? Vitality is a tool to help you to lower your playtime. If your vitality is down go and clean your appartment. Wash your car and watch a movie. Oh and write a job application or learn for your studium. Or spend some time with friends. You are not alone on planet Earth. Hey you can cook aswell. The whole time pizza from deliverservice isnt healty. Or try some hiking. Is your bike okay? Check if your pet is still alive. If you play to much will you recive perhaps a ban for a few days.

Ditch the whole alt plan imo. Level a support class along side the tyrant (WC or PP is a good choice for tyrant). If you want to initially level only with vit 3/4 then do that (after 76 you will need to get used to vit 0), but then just go do something else while it regens. People with tons of alts generally never see end game. If you're cool with that then go for it, but if you hope to be 85/80/80/80 eventually then you need to concentrate on one toon.
Forget alts on your mains account unless they are sellshops. XP your main to 76+ and then start a subclass, its like an alt only it benefits your main. If you truly need other toons to play make them on a secondary account and level them alongside your main / in your offtime.
That's my advice anyway.
It is worth level to 40 some alts for TW farming, cubics, clan crp, etc. That is fast nowadays, it takes no more than a week leveling only with vita 3-4, not to mention raiding. Some summoners to be left in hard to get places are also worth even tho you need 56 for that, but it is fast too and summoners are fun.
HOWEVER...
This is not a solo game to have all you need to level solo. Try find a party. In a full party vita drops much slower for same amount of exp, you can go raids, instance raids (kama labyrinths) do many anakazels in rift for great exp and vita, etc. Join a clan that can provide all that or start your own. Dont try to skip right to the endgame content, dont listen to bots that say the game starts there. It ends there. You will not even know what you missed. Play legit, have fun !

Ok i will give you my opinion, the one that you asked for, not another stupid "go level your toon".

As a support class i would choose:
1. Bishop: beatifull character, that you cango solo if you want.
2. Elven Elder: good choice too, but after 76 the healer is the bishop ok ? xD
3. Bladedancer: high demand, decent mob killer when soloing

Not really ;)
For a decent support class, since I am assuming from the sounds of it your working on 1 account, and not pulling it, I would suggest a WC, BD or SwS. They all solo decently, and are all needed in parties of all levels. If you go for the SwS, and probably BD(can't verify this one), I would suggest getting a pet wolf to help you kill, as well as give you something to do aside from clicking 1 mob, then the next. With a WC, you drain MP when hitting mobs, so you can spam skills to your hearts content, thus keeping you busy.

And if you look at my list below, you will see I to have alot of alts, so not going to discourage you playing them. Sometimes a person just gets into a mood to play something different. It also helps when your trying to form/get in a party, you can fill a niche role that you may otherwise be having a problem filling.
