As I am leaving lineage 2 in the next few days (and I am not coming back, at least to retail), rather than just give all my items away I have decided to do something special since the Christmas holidays are coming up :)
I have taken all of my items from all of my characters and hidden them around the ‘world’, though they are primarily in ‘noobie’ (1-50) areas so that all levels can participate :)
There are a few enchanted armour sets, weapons etc.. Oh, and there is also some vesper out there too ;)
Some are hidden in obvious places (especially those in towns) and some should be a bit harder to find (the ++++ armour sets for instance).
This is my little way of paying you all back for the fun I have had playing with you all. Happy hunting and Merry Christmas! (in advance ha-ha)
indeed the serve does delete items left on the ground by players after a period.... but it's not 10 minutes like mob item drops.. it's longer.. but how long isn't exactly fool proof..
dropping items on the ground specially now with the sheer number of strange server reboots that are unpredictable.. there is likely to be a ton of it lost likely.

when there are a number of items on the ground the server will lag (even if you have turned drops off) and eventually crash. when it happens all the dropped items are gone.
this is also true of Maintenance. once the server goes down, it comes back up clean. no items on the ground.
a noble idea my dear. DrakkosIV and myself once had a treasure hunt set up for our clan's newbies. once the items were finished distribution, we all lagged out. the items were gone when the server came back up.
Been searching around, found a bunch of mats, a com. Emi Bow and Com. C Duals.....Not sure if thats from you or just what I came across. Any clues :)

I went around to all the places I hid things to check if they were still there, they are not. So, either people have managed to find it all or it was all deleted (most likely). Oh well, it was worth a try :)
