The Shillien Empire.
The Shillien Empire is a Lineage II "light-Roleplaying" Dark Elf Clan, located on the Naia (EU) server.
It's a military religious order dedicated to the Goddess of Death herself : Shilen, which only Dark Elves (Shilen's children) can join.
This Clan is what's called "light-RP", the idea is to mix grind & PvP with a bit of Roleplay, and explore the world of Aden while having fun !
As an example, we can say whatever we want in the Clan chat, but we really want to stay in-character when we speak in the "All" chat (the white one), that's a small trick that makes a difference between what the player is saying and what the character is saying.
And with the new "Goddess Of Destruction" expansion just around the corner, it's gonna be a very exciting time for the Children of Shilen as we prepare ourselves to welcome our Mother on Aden !
As the Clan has been "reborn" from its former Teon roots, it's the perfect opprtunity for those of you who want a fresh start in a fresh Clan, and to participate in making it bigger !
Actually... that's exactly what i was thinking about...
At first i started this project as a Dark-Elf-only Clan, but then i had some problem recruiting ... a RP-Clan *and* Dark-Elf-only, well, i guess this was too much for most people out there ;)
But now, with the new "Goddess of Destruction" thing, i guess it would make much more sense to get back to Dark-Elf-only...
Besides, you're right, Dark Elves do have all kinds of possible roles in Lineage II...
Ok, i'll update the FAQ and description of the Clan and give it a try, but if i don't find anyone, i'll blame it on you :D
99,99% of the Playerbase doesnt know what "RP" is. :P

it's unfortunate, most people treat this game like an FPS where they just go around seeing howmany ppl they can pwn and gloat how uber they are. There is so much more to this game. =/

T_T this clan looks amazing! I wish I could be part of it I am a proud children of great Shilen but I am ashamed to admit that I fall for a light elf. My destiny is bond with his and even though he shares the same admiration as I for our dark Goddess yet he is still a children of the light so we can't be part of your amazing family :/

Wait a bit and check the "Legend of Azzagrath" when it goes online on our website and you'll see that you're not the first Dark Elf to fall for a Light one ;)

I see little problem in what you describe: All elves, light and dark, are children of Shilen. It is only through duplicity and lies that the light elves have come to call Eva their creator. Returning Shilen's children to Her arms should be a goal of every dark elf. You're just one step ahead.

Silly Dark Elves... It is definitely amusing to see how some people rationalize faith and worship. While Shilen is your creator, Eva is the means by which you survive.
Shilen swore vengeance against the gods, and Einhasad in particular, and has vowed to destroy all of her creations... which by extention, includes you! Do you honestly think that such a god will spare you? No... Shilen is too simple a creature, all her will is bent only on undoing what her mother has done, and in so doing she will kill everything, Elves and Dark Elves alike.
Eva, has worked tirelessly to save you from destruction, and you walk unknowningly towards it with your blind devotion to a vengeful, fallen god.
(Plus, if you read the lore, Shilen actually doesn't care at all about the dark elves. They entire reason they exist is because she did nothing for them at all. When the Brown Elf clan seperated from the Elves, and wanted to continue the war with the humans, thinking Shilen would give them the power to win, was it Shilen who gave them power? No, it was a HUMAN: Dasparion, who came and traded his knowledge of Gran Kain's destructive dark magic for the secret to immortality.)
Sorry, the lore is jacked up, but obvious... I've had this discusion with my roommate litterally a dozen times, he's finally just given up and admited that he thinks Shilen is a crazy, angry, teenager who hates her parents, and he likes her, just because. The lore makes her the bad guy for a reason... she isn't a victim, she's a vilian.
A little update to tell you that the "Lore" part on the Clan's website has been expanded with new info about Shilen, the Seven Seals, the Blood Red Moon, ...

It seems that a lot of people want to join the Clan, they say that it's a great idea, they want to see more of it, they PM me and everything, but when the time comes to actually join the Clan, then it's back to "hmmmm no i'd rather stick with my uber-grinding boss-raiding Clan..."
It should be kinda obvious that with a "Dark-Elf casual RP Clan" i cannot promise that there will be a party available 24/7 !
We have 6 members in the Clan right now, which is fine by me for now, and the idea is really to take a newborn Clan (lv.3) and make it grow from the ground up, so clearly what i'm looking for is ppl with a bit of experience in Clan management that would like to embark on this adventure !
Could be with an alt if your main needs to stay in a hardcore-levelling Clan, that's not a problem, but, really, don't expect any insta-85-levelling with this type of Clan ;)
