I am new to Lineage II and the server. I just wanted to stop in and say "Hello." I hope to see some of you in game. Thus far, I have only seen a few real live people and I just hit lvl20. I hope to keep updates going on my progress. I think I need to do a class change at this level. Wish me luck!
I just finished my first class change into an Orc Shaman. I did receive a random invite to some "clan academy" not sure what that is about. I didn't accept.
well if your a low lvl and jion an acadamy the clan will recive rep points once you graduated (you hit lvl 40 and finished the second job quest)
joining a acadamy isnt bad IF the clan someone is willing to Sponsor you
by sponsor i mean he needs to help you do a qeust and you will receive a full set D grade amor with special abilities to help you lvl
its a nice amor to save money with that amor you can wear till 40 and you can switch to C grade if you have the money. but allways focus on getting a better weapon first then amor and after that jewels (if you have crappy jewels just avoid magic mobs)
Even as a mage class. You would say weapon first, then armor? THanks for the reply too! I will just hang out without a clan for awhile I guess. I have no idea who is good or bad, but I assume someone just randomly inviting me isn't good.

Rafflesia <3
for mage class even more important to get a good weapon
mage class dont really need a good amor for your lvl cause if you go exp you not suppose to let the mob hit you they should die before they run to you. try to find a place where you can 2~3 shot mobs and drops herbs herbs are good to recover MP
if youplay orc i think the best is go for light amor when you solo
and a Blunt you can hit mobs and use your drains to recover HP thats also a way to lvl
a wolf quest is also avaliable once you hit lvl 15 in gludin
lvl a wolf next to you it will do a lot of dmg with your buffs it will be a crazy killing machine

and you can ride it once it hit 70 :)
Thanks for the advice Foork, I will try to get all the gear I can plus do the wolf quest that you mentioned! Be nice to have a pet running around with me.
Random invites to clans are maybe not good.. They are more interested in getting the clan Rep points, or just adding bodies, than getting good people. Not always true, but I prefer to at least say hi!! My clan does recruit, but we prefer people who want to be in a clan.
Still I do recommend getting into a clan. Particularly one which doesn't just want the Rep when you graduate and then sends you on your way. Clans offer passive skills to toons in the upper clan (not Academy) and the clan rep points help buy them. If you supply, you should get the benefit.
On the other hand, being a graduate of an Academy does get you a currently perfectly useless Tiara. But soon we hope, it will actually reduce exp loss on deaths for toons 40 to 75, (subs too one hopes), so being an Academy graduate can help you once that comes. Clan Oath armor is being improved too, but mostly likely you will be over 40 and out of it before that benefit comes.
Clans give you people who can help, who you can ask question of and hopefully get good answers, and does help you to learn about that aspect of the game. Can be faster than posting here, and then having to come back to look for replies. {On the other hand, here you get a much wider selection of opinions!!}
If you need help getting on your feet and such, give me a PM in-game (Flipsy) and I can help you out, get you situated, answer questions, etc ^^ much easier than having to ask on forums all the time
I haven't quite gotten to the level of being a dream state like Foooork says. I have thus far met some extremely nice people. I have even made myself a second account with a melee orc class. My mage just follows her around and gets exp. Not have Vitality seems to really stink.
I am greatful to have met some really helpful people in game and on the forums. If it wasn't for them I would still be level 18 grinding away to get to the first class change. The community has been very nice to me so far and I am delighted about it. Hope to make a lot more friends in game like the ones I have met so far.
p.s. Currently level28 orc shaman. I was in my first poling party. Plus, I did something called Kama-something. Its been a blast so far.

yeah thats nice to hear you having fun :))
AoE parties is the fastest way to lvl and most fun ^_~
Did my first raid tonight. An individual by the name of, TyrantEvoz, was shouting in Dion,"LFM raid 30+." I have only heard of raiding and how fast you gain experience around this level. I responded to his shout, but he didn't need an orc shaman =(. I asked if he needed an Elven Oracle. They could use my heals. Yaay! I went from level32-34 after they killed 4 raid bosses, I believe it was. It was lots of fun! Hope, I can get into some more before 40.
So, I could have maybe done the easy second transfer quest. I decided to go the long route and really get the most out this game. Long is not the appropriate word to describe the day I had yesterday. In the end I had help with the final stages of the third set of quest. I started around 5pm and finished at 2am EST. I know it took me awhile and a few deaths, but it was a lot of good learning. Your reading the typings of a new Lineage II Warcryer. hehe. I would do it all again on any characters I make in the future. Plus, the sp and adena is good too!
Congratz on getting your first toon done the 2nd CC. Believe it or not, 2nd CC quests are a lot easier now than when I did my first 3 years ago, but the first few, when many of the areas are new to you, are tough. A few deaths along the way are not a big deal. Exp from the 2nd CC quests, if you actually do them and not just pay the millions, can get you about 4 levels, 5 if you kill a few extra mobs while you are at a spot killing the 1 mob needed for CC quest. And the SP you gain, deaths only cost you exp, not SP so you get the SP again recovering your lost exp, you will find you need trying to get all the new skills you will be able to learn.
Also, RBs give more SP per exp than most mobs, plus they increase your Vit, not decrease it. RBs are fun, and good to hear someone is organizing Raids for lowbies on your server. You are also finding the advantage of having more than 1 toon on you account. Different groups need different classes, so when 1 doesn't fit, another might, and each toon has it's own supply of Vit to use up. :)
Good hunting!
