Hey i really want to lvl a Es on double exp but i like to pvp a lot as well when i lvl. Im just wonder at what lvl do Es become decent/ good at pvp because my lvl 48 es cant kill any class. Thank you
Not yet, but from 79 with great elemental AM you can hurt ppls.
I will quote you a really great post, wrote by Denmach some time ago in some topic about similiar question. :)
Summoners are just completely hacked in 1 vs 1 PvP versus most other classes (+30 Erasers need not pay attention, please move along) Things get even easier in the olympiad at 81 when you receive pet rage and invulnerability for your pet. Lategame, with your transfer pain properly oe'd you can soak a TON of damage from people (and the xfer pain talisman adds another 5%), reducing their incoming damage to you by 75% at max xfer pain. Pet invulnerability means it takes none of that 75% cut. So yes, you can use Magnus if you prefer to not mess with nuke augment reuse timers and use your level 35 nuke(s) instead, because endgame that 30 seconds of ownage is too much for nearly anyone that can't poof your pet to manage even using those weaker attacks.
That said, outside of the olympiad your pet can still hurt people, but the problem (like any melee class) is getting there before you die. Pets have it tough there, because all servitors with the exception of Nightshade have pretty abysmal defenses. They hurt when they attack, but they don't last long. The beauty of your 79 pet is that it can blast at range, and it hurts a great deal. Make sure you have a swordsinger to reduce skill reuse timers (hits magnus) and your pet can be a force on the siege field if it's properly over enchanted to mirror your level or one above it.
Subclass skills also are going to play a role in your PvP worthiness. Enchanter (bard, wc, pp) for invulnerability 5 second proc, knight for UD proc, and warrior CP will make you that much tougher to kill.
Nuke augments: They make or break a LOT of classes out there. They make the difference between an average Priest and a Murderer. With them properly elemented they crush people, so don't underestimate their power for a TON of classes out there. It just so happens that your class can benefit from them ridiculously well, as you can take 4 times the damage of your average mage if all your skills are up without casting a single heal on your pet for 30 seconds, and now your level 35 nukes both work for when the recast timer isn't up.
Now, I agree that the nuke pets are silly (1 d crystal guys from before), and Merrow is outclassed by his big brother Magnus, but the other pets all have their place. Your 56 and 79 pets are your endgame pets, with Boxer there for recharging yourself if you're in a pinch. All have their uses situationally. Yes, Mirage needs some work. Merrow was sweet before you got the direct upgrade to him. Fortunately for you, Seraphim and Magnus are both scary under the right circumstances.
Toss in the fact that smart cubic heals just about any debuff, Heal cubic's healed amount improved this patch, and Aqua cubic has the best dot in the game and you have yourself a very potent attacker AND high survivability.
Mechanics of melee vs. ranged hurts all summoners. Elf Summoners have it the easiest out of the three in terms of open PvP, so be thankful you have the option of becoming a complete and total beast of a class with the right kit. Many out there simply don't have that luxury. Group with your swordsinger friends (or another elf summoner with a pink pony out, or BOTH) if you want to **** faces with your Magnus. Your class is VERY very powerful if you use and equip it right.
