With this maintenance, the Double XP/SP setting will be enabled.
The Double XP/SP is a server-wide setting and it will affect all characters regardless of level, class or location. No items are required to receive this double XP boost.
The Double XP setting stacks with all vitality items, including Revita Pops and Nevit's Hourglass.
Quest XP is not affected by this boost.
The Double XP setting does not replenish vitality.
The Double XP/SP Weekend will last until regular server maintenance on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

I'm confused. You seem to be mixing Standard with Daylight times, GMT is 5 hours ahead of Eastern.

When you look in the world info window to have the time of the next TW, is the timezone of the server relevant or not?

I live in Russia and I'm used to GMT only. I don't like to sit and calculate what other time zones there are and what time it is for my location.
What Sace does is very good.
It is not about where servers are, it is about where people are from. Each country uses this or that time and all people should see something they find familiar.
P.S.: And don't send me to play on russian servers :P
Before Sace, the timezone given for Europe was the one of the server. You can defend it like you want, in summer Sace uses GMT too. It makes no sense for UK either.
Ask for a Russian timezone note if you want. 3 timezones for only NA is useless anyway. West and East coasts would suffice.

All you show is unfortunatelly your lack of knowleadge. The Earth has got standard time for everybody and it is from historical reason GMT.
It is kind and clever from Sace that he record time in standard time also.

Very clever. Except that she failed. Why not use only the date line timezone for everybody? That would be super-duper-standard and everybody would love it.
I believe that there should be a NPC that gives the buffs and vit to 1 character per account every 3 hours. this way people who just logged in don't have to hear that they just missed the buffs and have no clue if they will happen anytime soon. during the last xp weekend people were trying to lag out other players. I know with the tigers and the 5 bubble in in Aden i crit errorred and missed buffs :(. this also will help keep people off the gatekeeper. Don't get me wrong I love the event, I'm just adding my 2 cent for improvements and a better game play for everyone and not just those who can play 24/7.
Rorschach hehe :)) my main is warlord and i gave same idea ))) plus anyhow, they wont come down to buff me in catacombs, so for me to port out and run back just a little waste of time, :)) NPC would be the best idea, at least vitality repleshing every 24hrs would work too :P in High Five update they making new kill points for your exp bonus on nevitas box, everykill or so, you will be able to get extra point and x ammount of points will increase your nevits %bonus more then 50% :P i wonder how easy it will be to get 100% and what will be the boost :P hoho 1 kill give 500k exp? mmm nice

UTC is used by everyone to coordinate "time".
No one uses CET/CEST when talking about time in a global setting...

Or, simply put, make a time converter (javascript shoud do) where ppl can instert their timezone (for example GMT+2) and the PDT, CET, whatever the original announcement was made in. I am sure there are some on the net.

:) yeah but i think its not his point :p what about ppl who work, like myself, or have family, and (no offence) not a high school or college students.
You see by the time i get home, NCwest is in bed dreaming about 7th sky, and all i can enjoy is 1hr of game with adventurers buff on my alts + nevitas bonus, but i do want to lvl up faster on my alts, so all we were asking is just to make a NPC show up, and give out buffs like Nevits guy, donate him 500,000 for GM buffs, and 200,000 for Vitality Replesh once in 24 hrs, at least for this event, you know...
I know that NCsoft will never make everyone happy, unless they give like a santa hat with vitality replesh skill taggle on/off and expiry date 10 days after u open a box with santas hat, but otherwise, we will be all unhappy, and we still will have our likes and dislikes, i still didnt meet anyone with all the stuff i like :P
And yeah, with NPC who will accept ouR donations there will be less lag ;)) and i dont understand how that works "God gives you, but doesnt put it in your bag"... ggg...

Server Time of Naia is CET = GMT +1
and the problem is that sometimes UTC +1 is not equal to GMT +1 (coz of daylightsavingthigie or whatever, but it is so)
So if it's needed to write 3 time zones for US players, it would be nice to see also the time in CET (server time of EU server).
Ok maybe I wasn't clear. If you have a real life (congratulations), then focus on your main. I don't see why you expect to level all your characters as fast as players who have more time than you to play.

and i dont expect to level all my alts/subs/characters as fast as ppl who have more time to play then me, i was just saying that NPC with 1hr cov would be appriciated...i guess u dont see my point cause u always in game and dont miss any buffs so (congratulations) and i dont need to focus on my main, why? i like different styles of playing this game...and most of my character are around 78 so i dont really care... and i know that you wouldnt mind NPC with 1hr cov buffs available for you once in 24 hrs ...i careless, i do have my DC with cov and millions in my pocket...i wont even answer after this post...

I was simply looking for clarification on times, so I could plan accordingly. But this general rudeness, in game and out, is probably why the GMs are not buffing like they did the last time. It's also part of why I stopped hanging out on the forums.
I dont understand why you promise revita buffs and more when you cant give it to us like last time. Now if I dont play whole day I dont get revita so dont worth it for me. Give us revita... 7hour online and didnt get nothing... Yesterday needed 10hour to get 1 .... Give us what you promise or dont make scam events...
It seems to me that the main problem with the vitality last time was the crowding around the gatekeepers, while the problem this time is the random location so folks can't get it unless they're actively on. May I make this suggestion for next time: Use the Antharas teleport location in Giran.
It's out of the way so no one will be inconvenienced by not being able to reach NPCs*, and folks can safely wait there without being too much of a burden to the populace at large.
*There are manor NPCs, but there are an additional two sets in Giran as well.
Giving buffs + vit at 2nd hour of 2nd siege isnt an epic fail? And why GM said he will be back for rest who was sieging ? at 5 AM gmt+1 ?

and about ban ppl for bubles : what about ppl that block gk with their stupid pets ( since u cannot pass em ) >.>
ye, the timing with buffing 20 mins before the end of the siege was not really best idea. Maybe in hind sight waiting 30 mins and doing all would have made more sense, but i guess it was sunday and most people are not at work, so limited staff.. I think last double exp weekend was the same, on the Sunday we had less GM buffs than the other days. Just please next time wait til siege is over :P . Thanks for Buffs and vit tho, its appreciated .
Thanks again for the double XP weekend; I was able to push to 82 finally. Not that I am rushing to 85 like others but I will be able to do new things and hang with the high RB groups.
Double xp is supposed to help low lvl ppl to reach higher lvls.
Of course that begginers in server and most of low lvls dont have buffers to make dual and buff them to lvl.
That´s why there is so many ppl complaining about the lack of GM buffs.
High lvl ppl wont miss buffs so much cause they usualy have all supports they need to rush the best places.
but starter players cant enjoy the double xp so well cause they cant rush most of good places with their "lol equips" + newbie buffs.
this wont help starters if there is no great buffs so they can lvl faster then ppl high lvl.

Reading is fundamental. This is a 2x exp event not a GM buff event. The fact that they are staying up all hours of the night to give vitality and gm buffs is a bonus. Stop complaining.
It's really disappointing. The last one was great, and you can find any explanation for the buffs/vita during castle siege then the buff at 4am, the funny announcements like "The next round of buff will be in another place" that makes you hope another round but nothing comes in reasonable hours... but to me it was disappointing.
I was definitely expecting more, from what I enjoyed during last double-xp event. Now I know they can do it a lot duller. It's sad. :/
ty for x2-weekned, it was a great help for our party
but:
1. not good times for Vitality buffs on Naia
(only two times a day, too early in the morning and too late in the evening)
2. mega fail with Vitality while last 20 minutes of the 2nd siege
it would be nice to have different x2-weekends on EU and US servers. x2 while siege weekend is very very hard.
