If I am not mistaken vitality should not be accessible for RMT in any way, if the cheaters can now buy vitality, what is the point of it ? It was supposed to be a reward for ppl that are not on 24/7, was supposed to benefit those that are not afk and can go at elpy event, GM buffs, etc... It was also one of the very few things that helped legits level a bit more efficiently, now cheaters have access to 24/7 full vita...

If there are ppl stupid enough to sell their xp.... its not nc's mistake or problem. I had many pms from brainless ppl trying to buy my cakes. I wouldn't sell my cakes for anything in this world XD
That is not the point, it is not the supply which is the problem, the demand is.
While I agree that it isnt as easy as going to buy from the NPC shop and price will not be very low, vitality was a bonus for legits which is becoming a bonus for cheaters instead. Another one, like they didnt have enough... I hope this is a mistake, cheaters do NOT need yet another advantage, no matter how much they complain the game is too hard for them. Trasferring between chars of same account, maybe ok, but not between accounts...

The real joke is, you and I will catch up with those who spent real dollars to get the top of the pile, without wasting our money. Being able to move the Christmas Cakes off my toons which almost never have low Vit and and have 15 Revita-pops already, onto the toons I do want to push higher makes it easier for me to catch up.
Those people who are spending real money on these items are helping lowbies get stuff they need to get higher too. Unless people buying are already in a position to play enough to run their Vit right down regularly, not sure what all the Vit boosts are going to do for them. If they are cheating, then they are just as likely to be using bot programs and if not now, soon PvP bots too. I expect they will get caught and banned. Or discover they are having no more fun at lvl 85 than they were back at 65.
Lastly, there is only so much Christmas Cake to go around. I suspect that most people are not going to sell at all. I know I won't. And unopened cake boxes will be gone in 3 months, so most of those items will never be used or sold. These players have accounts which most likely have a single toon on them. So they got a 'free' 5 vita boost they can trade on each of their accounts. I have more toons per account and more tradeable Vita.
I think this will benefit me, and most legits, much more than the 'others'. I'll have fun leveling up my characters. If someone is not actually playing their characters, they won't be having fun, and eventually they won't be here, either. There is a level cap. It's getting closer. I'll have fun getting there, and with some luck, I'll still have fun when I reach it.

From what me and you are saying, I think tradeable within the account (different toons on same account) is OK.
And yeah, I meant the 24/7 "active" RMT ppl that keep geeting banned and buying other toons or botting new ones up. Instead of 3 months for 85 will need now only one month if they buy enough boxes. Hopefully, they will be banned, however, from the info I have, the GMs once again chickened out seeing how many cheaters thare are and the bans are not going as well as before... I am afraid that what happened in the past with the job left unfinished will happen again and ppl will continue to leave while those that could have joined will still wait for serious action. I hope I am wrong, but this event is drop based like the ones in the past, crackdown eased a lot, now vita tradeable, I am not too optimistic.

What i do have is 2 accounts full of alts i dont play , i sold some boxes ( around 20 ) , giving me just enough money to buy an a-grade set for my sr when she hits 61. I was broke before ;).
I only grind if i have vit 3-4 , and since i switch between 2 chars and have a limited play time per day , i almost cannot get down to vit 2 , i still have a lot of vita pops and boxes that i have not yet sold.
I'm really happy that ncsoft made them tradable this way! honestly , i dont care if other people get to 85 1 or 2 hours faster , as long as i'm enjoying the game! ( and i am , a lot! )

Well I didn't think it this way but yea it a really nice boost for the new characters that don't really worry about xp since the nevit's and vitality helps you lvl up really nice when you are <76 so they can get some of the extra adena that some high levels have and don't need as much as they need xp. It makes sence and helps the economy (well if we were living on a legit world :/ but I like to think as if we do)
I didnt understand the part meantioning, who ever buys Vita boxes is a so called "Cheater" (LoL).
In some part of it, you are right, it would benefit people with lots of cash to "buy" exp ;)
its reasonable to be annoyed if you cant be in that portion of the population been able to make 100-500 m per week buy ANY source in this game.
The only thing that outraged me is that i have deleted all the random raid boss camera chars i used to have, and resulting into loss of about 50 cake boxes..

I will have to sleep on the fat cushion of the 7m per box i sold within an hour of the event..and on the new shiny gear i got.
But again, its well proven, lack of imagination in ncsoft to make somethign usefull while having no In-game value to resell.
Everything that benefits players has to be either dirty expensive, or alse how will we have people strugling and crying all the time ?

They cant be sold in shops, either regular or private, but i asume they can be sent via mail with payment, since i sent myself mails with those.
This event rocks, I gathered more pops than in elpy hunt event, not to mention candles.

I am not. The only good part is that servers are less crowded and more and more content is available to us, but ppl that love PvP have to look elsewhere. And even so, when the servers will be just empty enough so we can do our PvE game in peace, then the last merger will struck...

You can all ask to be banned, I dont really care, I only care about the game and as it lost 5/6 of it's ppl in 3 years while in other parts started from 0 in that time and one server there has more than all our "community" do I need any more proofs that things are going bad ? I saw prices 2.5-3 mil. But that was asking price, I am not sure that is the final price.

Are the boxes gonna be deleted anytime soon? Or what happens for the ''included'' non tradeable items?
It says on the event page that any unopened boxes will be removed after 3 months, so sometime in March 2011. The items inside will never be removed. Obviously, the Santa Hat and Rudolph nose expire after 14 days...
Whether the Christmas Gift Boxes being tradable is a good thing or bad, they are things will be eventually consumed.

You have been saying that you colourblind and that you never level past 78 in quite few posts lately. You say this in manner that it's something special and you are proud of that. In fact it's annoying to read same thing in every post. Also not leveling past 78 is not something special. 78 was something special back in 2004 and it stayed there.

Not only that it is legal to mail your main, but is also legal to send via mail to other ppl or change hands against adena or whatever other in game items. Even tho not tried, it should possible to send mail with payment.
Although I dont agree with this, now it is too late to do anything, either if it was in purpose or mistake.
I still think it was a mistake, since the original description, the fact you cant drop or register in shop, etc.
I hope it was a mistake also and it wont happen again, because i think this is against the way the game was designed, exp should not be marketable, but we can already buy pets, ppl sell exp in aoe parties, this is just the latest change.
