Hey was just wondering if someone who has lvled a WC can help me
im just starting a new sub and i went WC, but i keep hearing mix reactions
on whats best for them, so i wanted to get all of your guys opnion on this
as well.
People have told me to use Heavy w Duals, other use mage blunt, some
say daggers. Current i got some FP Heavy and +4 Duals, im also looking at where the best xp will be. Iâll be useing a 65 Wolf to help me lvl, but until christmas only noobie buffs, after christmas iâll be able to use my 76 SE as iâll have the computer to
support the 2-boxing.
So what i need from you guys is:
1) Best equipment for C/B/A/S
2) Huntting spots for lvls and how long like 40-50 should be (insert xp spot)
3) Would the spot you mentioned work with my wolf iâll have with me
4) would the spot work with only noobie buffs, or do i need my buffer.
I know many people will have many different ideas. My favorite is a mage blunt. You have the M att to cast some spells, and since you have a blunt you can spam the skills like crazy since you never run out of MP.
I use Light armour, but mostly becuase I had it left over from my main, and eventually am hoping to use the same armour on my WC as my GH so I have less to change when switching classes. I never had a problem with it.
I've lvled both OL and WC on Teon doing melee with wolf.
Both used light armor and fighter blunts and did wonderfully.
I mostly did catacombs, coz ppl were paying alot for GSS at the time.
Light armor is a good mix of attk speed and cast speed, I never liked the slow cast speed in heavy armor.
If your wolf is a few lvls higher than you, and you can give it decent buffs (aka when you are roughly a grade), robes might work for ya, since the wolf can tank for ya.
Cholley, are there still lvl 50 mobs in Pavel Ruins? I've only seen the lvl 70 ones.
I've done OL with heavy armor and OE'd Blunt up to A grade. WC is a sub, lower, and I have trouble getting off my main. Both seem to solo fine in melee areas, and it seems, with a variety of gear. Both also have a number of buffs/heals which can benefit parties of their level too. I don't use a wolf on either OL or WC, but don't see why it would not be a big help. Picking on mobs who are weak to your weapon can be a big help. Orc skills seem to be fire based, so skill attacks on fire weak mobs should be stronger too.
Big item is, orcs if they fight, never have mana problems. They can use a variety of weapons, more with High Five for skills too I think. Need to re-read the notes. Too many things to keep them all straight. You are pretty much flexible in what you do, so try out some of the ideas here, and see which ones you like best. I don't think there is any one best way to play the WC.
only problem at this point, is my wolf cant be used until im 46 cuz its 65 so i need to hunt solo until then, i got my hands on a lot of old gear, so i got the mace, right now i got my FP im using, but i might switch to the mace, i didn't like the way the duals was working
Thanks Cholley, I'll go look again tomorrow. Too late tonight for me and I'm too tired. I thought I did those mobs with a level 75 or 76 spoiler, but was a couple of months ago now, so I could have been on other toons too. I noticed the Info in mini-map says that Archaic Laboratory is a level 50+ dungeon. But all the quests for that area are listed as 70+ ..
I have a lvl 71 nuker up there.. She can go and check.
Okay, Checked out the lvl 50 area (according to the mini-map info) Archaic laboratory. All mobs there are white to a lvl 71 SH. The lvl 52 RB outside (again, mini map info) but says he is lvl 76 and was yellow to my SH was only mob I saw there not white. Also some Archaic Lab mobs are strong M.def but weak to bows and crossbows. I believe I might have noticed that with my lvl 75 SpS, but did not read the Information on the mob at that time. I know I stopped hunting the mobs right close to Archaic on nuker quite fast.
