50-60 Quests

So, now that i'm back for good (thanks to the free reactivation and the x2 XP week-end, finally some good marketing skills at NC West ;) ), i do have a couple of questions about Quests :

- I started a Quest a while ago that i completely forgot about, it's a lv.39 Quest (the cute dwarfie near Shuttgart who cannot sleep because of the noise), and now that i'm lv.56 i tried to complete it, but the mobs i have to kill are deep blue, are they gonna drop the Quest items or is it too late for me to do it ?

- Any advice on good fun Quests to do at my level (56) to escape a bit from the grind ?

Thanks !!
My experience is, as long as the quest item mobs exist, they will drop if you have the quest.
Not much else will, and it can be deadly boring if you need to do a lot of them... But you can complete the quest if you want to. There should be no penalty on the quest item drops, so if you don't get any after a reasonable time, then maybe that one is different and you should give it up.. You might take a penalty on the reward from the quest though. Instead of getting a good item, just get adena. I had this happen on a quest I expected and item from. Not sure if that could have happened when I did quest on lower level toon or not. With the Vit and everything, it's very hard to get low level quests done before you are out of their level range, and for those under 35, you can't really leave them and finish them on a sub, later.

For a lvl 39 quest, assuming it still exists once you are subbed, you could do it then.

Not really sure about good fun quests. At that level there are some you should do, or have done. Mr. Hardin at Hardin's Academy has one, lvl 50+ which you should do if you haven't already. At 53, you can do Rafforty's quest 'The Other Side of Truth'. It's actually the first part of the series needed for Freya at level 82. If you hunt in Frozen Labyrinth, and prefer mats to adena, get his other quest (pays adena) and do both. Then he offers mats as well.
Seductive Whispers from Aden Black Smith Wilbert will let you play his game if you get enough drop items from various mobs. That and the Stolen Infirnium Ore one at level 58, from Romp, WH in Aden, are of the get and forget type. If you kill mobs involved, you will get items, and when you are bored with just leveling, go and try your luck. (Romps quest is Stolen Dignity).
level 61, Klump, Aden warehouse chief, has 'A Game of Cards' which is the same type.
None of these are really great quests, but they do get you quest items from a large variety of mobs as you hunt around.
Yes you were right i got the Quest item from the lv.39 mobs :)

I'll try the other Quests you told me about then, thanks for the advice !

And if anyone knows of some fun Quests to do around 50-60, please share ;)
Generally, a lot of 1 time quests are of the go see someone out there type. Fast and easy, and you get some exp and/or adena. The person you see usually has quests you are the right level for, some of which might be worth taking.

Oh yes i know, but i was more talking about fun, or even funny, Quests, with a nice story to it, something to escape a bit from the "go see someone / go kill something"...

Like this Quest i just completed about the little cute Dwarfie who couldn't sleep because of the ghost's noise, or the one in Shuttgart with the children stealing the old man's pants, etc ... :p

Or maybe some Quest with an intersting story about the Lineage II lore ?
The only Quest i know, that is worth doing, is the labyrinth. Others .. dunno ... L2 isn't famous for its nice quests.
Ah, there is that Q in aden for blue balls, forgot the name, u can get it in Aden Blacksmith place. But its based on grinding 100500 items and then giving 50 each time and play cards. If u will get lucky, u will get an enchant scroll and adena. After 60 something there is same Q at warehouse, but there u have to get atleast 2 identical letters to get something. For 2 u get EWD or EAD, not shure, long time passed since i did it last time. That is, if those Quests still exist.
