it happens me a lot... I got disconnected in the middle of exp.. while I exp in garden of beast. and I die!!!!!!
today I have shouted.. and learned there are people who got disconnected in same time with me and died... which means problem is not in my ISP or net connection..
server side problem.. or GMs are disconnecting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF?? Do I have to lose all exp I got cuz of stupid things like thaT?
If it's the game guard errors, delete the GG folder, check files, then restart the machine to flush your machine properly.
You think that's bad. Try poling with this **** happening. You actually stop doing stuff a few seconds before the message pops up so it's usually insta-death on login on strong mobs....
i have the same problem guys and its always when i poling and have my healer on 2nd acc :((((. DIE DIE DIE DIE........ sometimes i am thinking to cancel my 2nd acc...... i hate when it is happening ..@#@#@#@#@
Seems like a lot of things are not fixed yet but i still pay for 2 acc .... I hope 2011 will bless NCsoft and do something about our problems....
My major theme is why i should pray NCsoft to fix something that suppose to be good with out any problem (its an online game and you need it to be PERFECT all the times)

I didn't get disconnected (luckily) today, but I did experience a huge lag (that even the mouse goes to the loading icon) for like 15secs on both my pc and side laptop at the same time (yes exactly the same second). Maybe too many people are using 3rd party program :rolleyes: lol

Garden of Beasts is level 6x. Not worth opening a thread just for d/c in it.
and stop posting like some forum kids will I get exp back or not..
No you will not get the XP back from the GM's.
This has happened to all of us in the past and the answer is the same.
The truth is that somewhere along the connection to the servers if there is a drop, then all are disconnected, but the game servers can still be up and running. This is not NC fault, but any of the ISP's along the way. It sucks and we all hate it, but there is really nothing that NC can do about it.
A poor example: if some weekend warrior planting a tree in his back yard, cuts the fiber line, then everyone looses connection.. this would not be NC fault, but the jerk off that did not call Ms Utility (is it a service in the USA that will come out for free and mark all the utility lines that are underground).

Im willing to bet that if you had been out exping instead of watching the forums and posting, you would have gotten all your exp back.

its not about exp.. its anyways my alt char.. thing is that most people got disconnected... some people are 83-84+... and it happens a lot...
Funny that the only one that made a comment about this "problem" doesn't fall into this category. I guess 83+ players just don't care about exp like an A grader should, eh? QFC and go get your exp back in 10 mobs.
To be honest...i havent experienced any of this issues and im running 2 clients on my box... but ive experienced in last few days lags which are like 20-30 seconds but client always waked up and was running again without d/c so not sure about GM thingie but imho some ISP issue (looks like rerouting at some nodes or maybe some dns issue)...i wouldnt blame GMs for this since im sure when they kick you, you dont stay ingame but youre immediately kicked and those cant for sure d/c you in way you describe :D
