Rush/Rush Impact

General Discussion Started Last reply 22 posts
So now that other classes get these skills, the question comes into the enchant route possibilities.

Rush Impact is learned at 83 and 85 (depending on class) but learned at 78 for kamaels. Now kamaels can enchant RI, the new classes will not be able to (most likely). Now, the real question is: Will the RI learned at 83 be the same lvl of a skill as the one learned at 85 by the titan? Will both versions be a lvl 85 skill? (to be on par with +15 RI of the kamael)
u ware wrong - titan learn it at 83 too but 150m sp instead 100 for other class

also again: kamael rush impact 0 sec resue - dread etc. 20 sec
kamael rush 0 sec reuse - dread etc 8 sec...

so... gf :)

from the patch notes by Sace:

Rush (level 40)
-Warlord
-Gladiator
-Destroyer
-Tyrant
-Warsmith

Rush Impact (level 83, 85 for Titan)
-Dreadnought
-Duelist
-Titan
-Grand Khavatari
-Maestro

and

i heard RI got that nerf accross the board, not just for new classes who get the skill. i also read the rush skill has a 3 second reuse, il see if i can find the source for both of these
ru off pts

Titan Rush impact is learned at L83 and not L85 as originally reported, but the skill cost is 150m sp instead of 100m which the other warriors get.

Rush Impact for non Kamael Warriors has a 20s reuse penalty. Doombringers reuse on rush impact is 0s.

Rush for all non kamael warriors and has a cooldown of 3s. Trooper reuse on rush is 0s.

SO chickens stop crying about losing your rush skills, you still rush better then a non chicken
None of a new added skills are enchantable. Just in case you don't know yet.

yes i did know that, i am wondering what lvl of skill they are technically, 83 or 85

edit:

if it is only 83, then we should be able to enchant it to 85 otherwise it will fail on 85 chars and be useless. if its 85 then thats good.
Hope chickens get nerfed, they are boring to see already.

What about disarm skill for dread and other warriors?

Easiest class in the game to max level with, what more do you want?
i dont play for lvl... with all vit **** / events etc. exping is not problem for any class... with all jewels, TW jewels, oly jewels, resist stun sets pvp is hard... do u wanna play dagger that 90% blows "missed" ?
Nah,is not that bad.But nc ignores the fact that polearms/spears were the most used warfare weapons in history,I know..even if it's a fantasy game it follows a medieval theme. Many had a small hook or spike on the reverse side for pull the opponent, also for disarm purposes...
google dreadnought, you'll see a real battleship and a warhammer unit.

umm, afaik, all that is irrelevant, skill level = char level always. enchanting only changes whatever you enchant for such as rate, power etc.

In PvE, yes its been changed. In PvP it remains that skill level affects land rates.

Knowing NC Soft, I doubt they even changed the learn level of the actual skill itself. The version I saw still had the kamael 'soul' message still attached to the skills data read-out, thus supporting the theory that it is a simple cut & paste **** job we all thought it would be.
Yeah, and I don't get why anyone would think RI for non-Doombringers should be enchantable when no level 83 skills are in the first place...

if that were the case, wouldnt nukers still need to +++ their nukes for PvP to avoid failures? afaik, they dont need to. same with nukes from transformations, from what i recall from PTS they still have a good rate.

Only for the damage part of the skills. The debuff part still depends on the "learnt lvl" of the skill.
nukes from transformations
Skills from transformations have the "learnt level" of the transformed toon, and not the level at which the transformation was learned or became learnable.

What does it matter if the skill level is 83 or 85 when the new cap is 90?

Ummmm I think you got the wrong update dude
Yeah, and I don't get why anyone would think RI for non-Doombringers should be enchantable when no level 83 skills are in the first place...

you must have missed the part where i was asking if the skill was registered as an 83 lvl skill or an 85 lvl skill. with the whole point being that doombringers can make their RI a lvl 85 skill and if the other classes are stuck with a lvl 83 skill when lvl cap is 85, then its pointless.
umm, afaik, all that is irrelevant, skill level = char level always. enchanting only changes whatever you enchant for such as rate, power etc.

enchantment goes as follows in case you didnt know:

Level 74- Skills
+1 = level 76
+4 = level 77
+7 = level 78
+10 = level 79
+13 = level 80
+16 = level 81
+19 = level 82
+22 = level 83
+25 = level 84
+28 = level 85

Level 76+ Skills
+1 = level 81
+4 = level 82
+7 = level 83
+10 = level 84
+13 = level 85

so yes, enchant does affect the skill level and can affect its land rate in pvp. why do you think half the prophets on this board complain about their +12 root not landing on lvl 85 chars and stating its worthless? Its because their +12 root is a lvl 79 skill and should fail on a lvl 85 char.

some skills have enchant lvl thresh holds on when you get a new bonus, such as +1, +8, +15, +22, +30 or +1, +15, +30. this is typically for passive skills and toggles/self buffs. any debuff or damage dealing skill will be affected by the skill's lvl, which is modified by enchant lvl.

yes yes, i know all that, but i thought that was all history and its been changed so that skill level = char level regardless of enchant.

and ofc +12 will land bad compared to +30 since they enchant for +chance. for my stun i belive i gain +1% base land rate per enchant, making my 50% base go up to 80% base on hammer crush.

but +12 do land well enough, atleast if you dont have mental shield buffed. i was rooted 3/7 tries on oly when i didnt land mental on myself if it truly were a 79 skill it would hardly land at all if they still followed the rule that skill enchant level = skill level.
