dunno its only bad luck but.. i made spoiler to get some money.. my idea was about spoiling ewd, ewc.. i started to spoil ewd near giran at lvl 28 (mob turak bugbear lvl 31).. i was trying to spoil to lvl 35 but NO ewd.. i killed so many mobs and no price for that.. now im lvl 44 and im trying to spoil ewc near aden (lvl 45 mob vanor silenos grunt) and stil the same.. wrr.. im so disapointed.. ok.. i got some basic mats but cant get enough money to buy b grade equip for my main char.. i know the chance to spoil is low. but.. for me its zero :X now im thinking if there is a technique how to spoil with best chance or something.. but i think it is just the spoil and swap.. nothing special.. or?
Also spoil items with a high spoil rate not 1/1500 like EWD. Cubics killed the enchant market so go for materials used for crafting. Not parts at your level they are worthless.
i beg to differ... i was spoiling 100's o bones in front mobs heritics for months.... lvl 35 mobs... oh yah and no way u can solo (1 acct newb buffs bad gear(which is what the op says he has) ) in cruma tower now... party maybe.. but last time i went in i got smoked by cath stun multi times lol
yes i am telling him to de level and spoil hmmm... i believe thats what we all have done..... i beleive u should take ur own advice? tell him not to lvl so fast he'll get there eventually lol can u see him doing that in crappy d and c gear? hmmmm lets see... like i said take ur advice... de lvl, spoil green mobs, grind for money not xp.....
Cl is a good business, I am not sure bones are better, however, rift is another good place to get them, and there are enchants there too :P
Lately, since many bots disapeared, manor is possible once again, so ppl other than spoilers can still make a lot of mats out of it.
There are tons of ways to make money in this game, including sleeping in the market, but some are hard and some are dangerous (one wrong price and you lose all you got in months). Depends on you to find the best way that suits your style.

The other thing is to manor - you will need to a lot of research on your server to find out what seeds you can manor - as a BH you can manor and spoil at the same time.
If you watch the manor you can make a lot of money, but it takes a lot of effort.

If you are still lvl 44, and signed for the Catas, the mob types in the first rooms of Branded are good spoils. If you are concerned about your spoil/sweep technique, you should be getting systems messages, and should be checking them. If you successfully spoil a mob you get a message about 'spoil condition activated'.. That doesn't mean you are going to get a spoil drop.. just that you might. If you don't get the message, and if when you sweep, you do get a message that the mob is not spoiled, then you need to work harder at making sure mobs are spoiled. Green and white mobs are easier to get the spoil condition activated, but even so, you can still fail quite a few times and even kill the mob before you get spoil condition activitated.
Also, don't really bother hunting specifically for enchants under S grade, except for your own use.
Crafted leather is 4 Cord, 4 leather, 4 Coal, so spoiling those and finding a friendly dorf to help you up grade works.
Mostly you should be looking in Giran to see what people are trying to buy, and sell in the way of mats, and attempt to get those items. You can't get at the high end stuff, parts and recipes for S80+, for a while. There are still sites which give good drop info for lower lvl mobs and stuff.. Just check that the mobs are still low level and not now 80+..
See if you can get a buffer/healer/recharger. I would actually suggest an EE in preference to SE, since Newbie buffs give you most of the SE's buffs, but stigma and bless the blood from an active SE can greatly help a spoiler hunting. The EE is good though if you use a shield, and if you need to hunt some stunner mobs. If you can get a BD/SwS to help as well, then you could hunt in Cruma despite having less than top gear.

Maybe you can try finding a clan, most of the time they will have a spare set to lend you in the grades you are in, until you get to S grade, and they can help you with a more "permanent" armor/wep.

Smittie is right, get in a clan, they will get you at least luxury b grade, however, if you go for common, that doesnt mean it has to be full set. You dont get bonus even if it is, so youc an get any heavy part for instance and patch them up together, a rag-tag armor, but still with good defense.
If your really want to remain independent, buy luxury shop armor, zubei heavy is not bad, it does give some kind of a bonus, c common jewels are still OK till a grade and at a grade hopefully high five will be here and you can buy it in shop for adena.
