Kind of funny how just before the server went down, people started porting to Giran and asking for GM buffs. Anyone know why?

Server went down some time in the distant past; GM's gave out buffs - people wanted more

We had a double XP weekend.

Server went down recently for 10 minutes; GM's gave out buffs, people were demanding double XP weekends....

get a grip guys, it was 10 minutes, go take a bio or make some coffee or whatever; be grateful there was a GM buffing you at all.

GF Chronos.

Odd facts regarding today's server failure:

- When I logged in, I noticed my vitality level was 2 instead of 4 as expected. Since Nevit's blessing was up, I said "whatever" and began to xp.

- The lag was pretty bad, sometimes shots did not work in time, sometimes drops would appear in inventory seconds later after picking them up, and when I summoned a pet, it popped up about 30 seconds later. The server was working totally out of sync.

- 25 minutes later, shots stopped working at all, I realized the shutdown was imminent, so I ran to a mob-free spot and got d/ced right there.

- When Chronos was back up and I logged in, I found my character in a different place (with aggro mobs around), its vitality got reset to lvl 4, and Nevit's blessing got rolled back to 59 min.
