A funny thing on Chronos Server - Retail Forum Archives

We had an unexpected outage of Chronos server last night (only 10 minutes or so), so our GMs decided to be nice and handed out GM buffs in Giran.

GMSparse was near the GK and was visible..

I logged my Spoiler in, and ran up for the buffs, in white chat i saw the following (name changed to protect the guilty)

yhgejg: Come to <website>.com where all your gold is cheaper. L2 Adena 800m for $12.40
(or something like that)

GMSParse: be right back, I just have to put out the trash.

me too, but it was hilarious for him to pop up next to the GM and start his spamming :D

Too funny,

well this proves we need GM's to pay LOOOTS more of those surprise visits.

They should take out the Trash on a more daily basis .

Too funny,

well this proves we need GM's to pay LOOOTS more of those surprise visits.

They should take out the Trash on a more daily basis .

Hourly... Then less trash will be left to be taken out so they can do other things.

remember when these spammers show up hackings are going on there is a direct correlation run your virus scans when this happens.

Really? I thought these were just trial account white spam sellers?

I run a full virus scan at 4am every day now anyway, it takes a while with a little over 5m files on my machine.

those whitechat spammers are dime a dozen trial accounts. While it's nice the GM kicked them out it didn't really cost the farmers anything except maybe the inconvenience of coming up with a new account name

It is said that GMs banned them, but it sounds very esoteric. Why not ghosts or extraterrestrial?
IMO they just ran out of battery.
