All servers will be down for a brief maintenance on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 12pm PDT / 2pm CDT / 3pm EDT / 8pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 30 minutes.

'No XP Loss of Death' ends.
'Double XP/SP' and 'Double Drop/Spoil' begin.

Well if ppl are angry , it's probably because of the chain of server reboots ;). On the other hand , gm buffs and vit really came in handy. But seriously , who cares about GK fees?...

I've updated the thread to include Chronos for not giving free teleports anymore as well. We will bring free teleports to each of the servers again in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you enjoy the rest of the event. :)

Teleport fees are not the point the event doesnt work at all, money drop and xp is at the pre-event lvl also

on naia teleports now for free again :)
as I said before. that was problem with 50% lower prices on weekend for teleports..

Hum, what are you talking about, teleports are free :o At least on Naia. I didnt even notice them being taxed again, perhaps because i dont pay attention to that, but this morning did some quests and tps were free. Is this different on Chronos ?

yes it is

Seems the Free Gatekeepers only applied on Weekdays, not on the Weekends.. Since it is also Weekdays, when for a few hours the GKs charge 1/2 price, I would suspect that the code which causes that, also reset prices Friday at midnight Central Time, and then undid it at midnight on Sunday. That's what appeared to happen. On Monday and until Server Maintenance on Tuesday GKs were free. The event Gatekeeper also was affected.

When will the free gatekeepers be restored?

It was an event of player appreciation week when gatekeeper prices were removed and they were teleporting for free, but now they are restored to their normal state - charging money for tp ^^

I am sure it'll be in terms of some events and only because they screwed up this time with changing price due to weekends :)
On other servers including Korean servers gatekeeper teleports are not free, why would this be different for us?
Besides, word "restored" slightly hints that "free teleport state" is by default and charging money is event when it's the other way around.

Perhaps you should read Sace's statement more carefully. You will see it does not give a date or time? I was hoping someone would know?

Gatekeepers will continue to charge as normal until further notice. When we do bring free teleports again, it will be announced as an event, or might even be a part of a similar event. No estimated time on when this will happen yet.
