I was just wondering about drops and Spoils in HF and in future cronicles!
Concordance between level of mobs and the drops and spoils you get. Say for example a-grade drops in Hell Bound and the spoiling of metal hardener+1 metallic fiber drops from 78+/80+ monsters. Is it your intention that drops/spoils do not fit the level of the monster, nor benefit crafts for s80/s84. Take for example metal hardener which spoils from a lv 78+ mob. What is the purpose of this, when the only real items that needs metal hardener is C-grade weapons. What is the connection? Or if you kill a chimera, you have earned 1 High grade suede? Does it make sense?
And why do mobs in Den of Evil drop Attri stones and Dino island doesn't? Same level, just melee and mage spots.
As a spoiler it seems to me that most spoils are aimed to be vender junk.
This is probably because vender junk has a regulated price and doesnât allow the market to get flooded.
In addition when new areas and equipment is added to game, if they are included in common spoil tables, the equipment is produced quickly. They everyone gains the new equipment quickly they soon start looking for the next goal i.e. the next armor set, normally in the next update.
In conclusion I think itâs probably by design.
That said I do think many high level mops need to have their spoil value assessed. More A grade armor parts and blades to spoil. :D
A grade Glove / Boot part = 5-7k
A grade Body part = 16-22k
A grade Weapon part = 42-50k
As far as basemats are concerned I agree with you however when looking at armor/weapon part spoils and drops take this into consideration
The orginal intent for armor was not for you to get a grade as soon as you hit 61 or b grade at 52. Thefore you would have to be atleast bgrade ti begin spoiling low b grade stuff if your hunting mobs around your lvl. Once you are part way through bgrade you well spoil higher b and if your lucky possibly low a grade.
People just expected to get gear once that ding the lvl required to get it with maybe the exception of s80 gear, and ppl who wear a grade til 80 ( s armor is a pain so glad dynasty is gonna be s because the way to get s armor recs is lame.)
Then how you explain B Grade mats drop in High S grade field
Itâs not so much what spoils, itâs value of the spoil (Quality) and the probability (Quantity) of the spoil.
(Quality * Quantity) = Average Income per mop
If a grade mat spoils with 80%(0.8) Probability thatâs worth 10k to the vender in town.
(10k*0.8)=8k Per mop
If a grade mat spoils with 40%(0.4) Probability thatâs worth 20k to the vender in town.
(20k*0.4)=8k Per mop
Some grade body mats spoil with higher probability and are worth more to the vender than grade Glove/Boot mats.
When items are included in the spoil tables, the market floods and the NPC vender becomes the highest priced buyer causing Spoils tobe vender junk, the exception is items with very low spoil probability (So long as the demand stays high).
