I posted a question asking what time AA coule be exchanged in GMT on Chronos..... now I've found out and I just have to say WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!!
2am-6am GMT, 3am to 7am for Europeans.
This is a game mechanic that serves absolutely no purpose since you can only purchase AA one time a day. It's just inbuilt racism! I can take manor reset in the early hours and olympiad at midnight, I can do an hour a night from 12-1am. I Can live with sieges since that's only once every two weeks. All of those mechanics need times to be set and couldn't run further or run all day. But seriously WTF you could at least extend the time by 3 hours to start at 11pm GMT/12am GMT+1, that's be a little less racist.
Please enlighten me how these times need to be there at all, let alone at 2/3am for 50% of your server population!
I live in Brazil and I can only get AA at 00:00 pm I see no problem with that, the game also requires some sacrifices and mammon is not the only way to get AA.
There is Naia server (which I don't know what time the server time is though), and NC also offered free server transfer... ^^||
Old and stupid argument which always shows up
(and always countered by the same old "there were no euro servers when I started" plus "all my US friends are here and they do not want to switch servers" plus "who would actually WANT to play with those cheating clowns on the euro server?")
It is still a valid question why something with a daily reset has only a silly little time window during which you can actually use it. Making the kamas only available from 3am to 7am with a 24h reset would be the same thing, everybody would ask "why can we only do the kamas during this time window?"
The logical thing would be to allow buying AA the whole day, once per 24h, with a fixed reset time every day.

But the answer is still true. Just people rejects the idea.
I believe the time limit set we got 'at the moment' is a restriction on AA flowing through the market, include the level restriction as well (even it's not that hard to get to 61 nowadays lol). The market would crash if there was no 'restrictions' of any sort. Did you see how many people were buying at 1:4 aa at the beginning and now changing back to 1:5?
It doesn't benefit me in anyway either. It will be 12pm-4pm my time, which I have a life to attend to ^^
But the answer is still true.
Nope it's not. The question was "why?".
Anyway, if Euro people (or anyone that feels uncomfortable with such limitation) move off from Chronos, its remaining population will fall below the level the Korean developers consider sustainable for L2.
 Are u sure u're playing the NA/EU server with NCWest managing? Lawlz. There is a NAIA server (fact and truth) and there is free server transfer (fact and truth). NCsoft isn't holding a gun to ur head and say that you can only play on Chronos now, even people might still be waiting for the transfer; but the choice is there. You choose to go with NA server time or EU server time, can't blame anyone for your choice; for whatever reason you're staying in a timezone that doesn't suit you.
Add: and really... Do u ever read? (I guess not from all your other reply posts to me lol) I already answered why in the previous post. So anyone going to start a thread about why AA exchange also got a level restriction? :D

LOL transfer to Naia.... The answer is still always the same you find a way after 6 years of playing L2 collecting things to transfer my 6 80+ toons with subs, 3 lvl 70s like WS that I use, 6+ lvl 6x toons I use for raids. 6 dyn sets, vesper, moi, sgrd, 10+ agrd sets, 6+ bgrd sets, 30+ weapons half of which with augs and pvp, 4 clan WH's full of crafting items, mats, non quest inventory quest items, EVENT items such as 100+ vita pops and maintain pots, 100+ christmas boxes, 300+ milks. Then transfer all my friends to Naia.... then you have a valid argument.
Also your "retstricting the flow idea" is fatally flawed.... by setting certain time restrictions MORE people will buy AA since they can make a profit and since they only have a set time, with no time limit people will be more relaxed and not go crazy trying to makes some profit while they can.
Another thing is the fact that the AA sale was put in place to make AA cheaper and more accessible to people. Not to discriminate against helf the server population for no good reason.
And Ferine is right .. thats a pretty rediculus time ... same for TW .. 3am to 5am here.
COZ ITS US SERVER!!! For US players Naia times are rediculus...

+ infinite
I will never do a server transfer when I end up losing 99% of my items and need to pay 300-500$ to transfer all my character over.
People, stop turning this into another "all euro players should move to the euro server" thread (although it would be fun to hear the whining of the US players if suddenly 50% of the server population left and most of the top clans would suddenly have only half the people).
The question asked in this thread should be "why is there a time window for the AA sale at all ?". It is restriction enough that you can buy only a certain amount of AA per day, why restrict that restricted amount to a time window?
There is a NAIA server (fact and truth)
But not an answer to the question.
and there is free server transfer (fact and truth).
But only 20 toons from the whole Chronos can use it since the start of High Five until the server transfer tickets expire. Besides, it's not an answer to the question either.

It doesn't answer the OP's question either.

Not taught to keep dicussions decent, aren't you?
I already answered why in the previous post. So anyone going to start a thread about why AA exchange also got a level restriction? :D
It has a level restriction so that A-grade noobs can make some money for their S-grade. But its time restriction has no other meaningful explanation than the standard "knee-jerk" solution to possible overfarming problems, which has no effect in this particular case and which wouldn't have been in the game had the devs used some brain when they had pulled it.

My previous clan all transferred to Naia for a better time zone, so stop with the 6 80+ toons with subs blah blah blah; you think they don't have all the toons+things that you mentioned? There is a choice honey (a free one, also) :). They chose it, so they don't have to QQ about the time zone ever again; like some still do now . I will say it again, it's up to you to choose it or not; but you can't blame anyone for not choosing it.
Also your "retstricting the flow idea" is fatally flawed.... by setting certain time restrictions MORE people will buy AA since they can make a profit and since they only have a set time, with no time limit people will be more relaxed and not go crazy trying to makes some profit while they can.
So there will be less aa in the market when the restriction is not set? That seems more flawed though  If people want it they will buy it whether it's restricted or not, the 'more relaxed theory' is just BS. Also, you can always set up buy shop at 1:4 and that's 24/7; you know ^^
Another thing is the fact that the AA sale was put in place to make AA cheaper and more accessible to people. Not to discriminate against helf the server population for no good reason.
Stop with the 'discriminate' word already. Discrimination: "unfair treatment of a person, racial group, minority, etc.; action based on prejudice." (source: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/discrimination) There's no prejudice here. US server = US time, EU server = EU time, always been that way. The time was always there for oly/sieges/tw/manor. You know it before they added AA exchange, and you chose to accept the US time everytime you log into Chronos instead of Naia.
People, stop turning this into another "all euro players should move to the euro server" thread (although it would be fun to hear the whining of the US players if suddenly 50% of the server population left and most of the top clans would suddenly have only half the people).
Not turning it into move to euro server thread ^^, but if someone is unhappy about the time (US time); they should move as there is a choice. People that I personally know already moved for a better time zone for them. The US time was always there for Chronos (oly/siege/tw/manor); it's not a sudden time change to the server.
The question asked in this thread should be "why is there a time window for the AA sale at all ?". It is restriction enough that you can buy only a certain amount of AA per day, why restrict that restricted amount to a time window?
Perhaps NC believes that the level+purchasable amount restriction is not enough to limit the amount of sudden AA flowing through the market. I personally would be buying AA on all my 61+ toons also if there weren't the time restriction also ^^ That's already 15 toon (7.5mil aa) less going into the market.
But not an answer to the question.
It's ok if you refuse to read/see what I wrote. I still <3 you /hugz ^^
Every update this game is getting less hardcore and more accessible to everything is need it to improve your toon and ppl still QQ asking for more facilities... Instead of cry with not just deal with what the game is offering and find the best way to get what you need.
Ppl want everything easy and fast, this is a game and u need to effort and spend time to reach what you want this kind of treats are those who GM just ignore and end with argues between player who are against and in favor of the "problem" to finally just get lock and forgiven...

Very nice, glad your clan decided to move away from you. Fact is still fact that I don't want to lose my support, gear, mats, augments, vitality pots, investments, friends on the server I've played on for 6 years (well what's left after merge). I don't want to go to a server where I know nobody, with more non-english speakers and regular non english hero/shout/white chat (personal disike).
I've done bad siege times for 6 years, I can handle that, I actually don't mind it since often I just turn up blind drunk after a night out and it doesn't affect my day if late night Sieges once every two weeks was such a problem I'd of moved to Teon when it opened back in the day. But with every update theres more and more plain horrible timed mechanics. 2am GMT Territory Wars time is jsut plain ignorant or lazy. This AA patch is completely unnessasary and is prejudice against all European players on the server because they could change the darn thing so easily to accommodate for more people, that's discrimination saying we're less worthy that American players! It's not once every 2 weks it's every night and it affects Europeans MASSIVELY.
What's so hard for NC to do reasonable times for things to acommodate for their player base. First slot siege is always fully booked and is the busiest siege each week, why can't TW share the same time? The AA trading time for start is completely unnessessary and for a second could easily be extended by just 3 hours to allow for Europeans to be able to participate in it, start at 11pm GMT, simples!
And yes restricting the time does flood the market more since people will buy on as many toons as possible even if they don't need AA because they can sell it for a profit to the poor European players that NC screwed over for no reason. If people have regular access all day they won't over-buy, just get what they need, prices won't go lower than 4:1.
I got a feeling that the only reason NC doesn't give a **** about players of other timezones on Chronos is because they can't be bothered writing down 2 different server times for Naia and Chronos activities. Fact is though that Changing TW time wouldn't be a problem since the NPC tells players when it is in their timezone, and just extending the AA trade by 3 hours early would work on both servers.
@Andr3s you clearly haven't read anything. It's about horrible patches against non-Americans compared to the rest of the servers.
Ferine, they DO accomodate for their player base. It's called NAIA + free transfers. NCSoft is a business. Would you move a prime event away from prime time just to "accomodate" the minority? No, and NCSoft did the smart thing by adding a server that makes your minority a majority. If you want prime time events, join the right server. Very simple. You're just being rediculous claiming this is racism or that NCSoft does nothing for their playerbase.

How's 2am GMT prime time when that's the quietest siege slot each week? None of the server stats put that as prime time every day either as far as I know, it's pretty evenly spread until around 5am GMT.
Also can people **** about "Free" Naia transfers. They aren't free if you stand to lose years worth of work, Friends, Social connections to move to a server with things you don't like such as more non-english players.
You have a valid point about the transfers, but we have to make some sacrifices. We can't have the best of both worlds. I work 12on 12off all weekend. Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon. The only way I'll ever participate in forts/sieges is after an unlikely schedule change, or when I take PTO. Things just don't work out for some people, just accept it or alter your schedule over weekends to make it. NCSoft can't cater to you.

It is always easy to guess when you don't know the truth before it backfires at you :) I left that clan (before I took a year break from L2) due to my time zone differences with theirs, which they understand and agree with me also. However, I still have most of the clan members on my facebook which I still keep in touch with ^^ They only transferred late last year when NC did the free server transfer, also when I just finished my break and got back to the game :)
You are not the only one. My friends made that choice to go to Naia server where they know nobody, with more non-english speakers and regular non-english hero/shout/white chat, losing augments on weapons, vit pots, investments, their support+boxes; but HEY! THEY DID IT ANYWAY SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO CRY ABOUT THE US TIME WHEN THEY LIVE IN AN EU TIMEZONE, even that means they have to start all over again. So please stop with the 'I' am special and NC should treat us specially even the server is specifically made for the US time zone.
Theres no "I am special about it". And all the "you're not American , deal with it" really holds no weight.
The fact is NC have the server stats, they know theres a large portion of multi timezone players who play the servers yet the still incorperate non-necessary restriction that screws over a large portion of the player base. This is a business, how hard is it to cater for the player base instead of screwing the majority of it over?
There is no need for the restriction but it does cause problems, why ignore the fact that theres a majority of people who play on chronos from multiple timezones?

Seriously?
They gave an option for the "majority" that you claim to represent. It's been presented multiple times in this thread.

Transfer or man up and deal with it.
What can't you understand about "Transfers aren't worth it since you lose far too much and don't want a server with more non-english speaking"?
Would you take a transfer even though you were happy ont he server you were on, didn't liek the only other option and stand to lose most of what you've played for the past 6 years for?

I know, right? That guy got some serious issues lol. He doesn't want to take setting up buy shop for 1:4 into consideration which can be 24/7 (= no time restriction) and don't wanna transfer to Naia, then cry about it and keep overemphasising 'majority' players on a US server + calling NCsoft a racist and discriminating against EU time players on a 'everybody (including himself) knows that Chronos is a NA server'. How awesome can this thread be? :D
add: What can't you understand about "Transfers aren't worth it since you lose far too much and don't want a server with more non-english speaking"?
Tbh, that sounds waaaaaay more racist and you are discriminating against non-english speakers than what NC have done (as you claim it's racist ) with the AA exchange time. What's wrong with non-english speaking people? They are human (and possible very nice people), too; and playing the same game as we all do :)

Having a preference for a server where more people speak your own language, and where other languages are rarely used in chat channels isn't racist at all. I don't have anything against the people, I've been in lots of euro clans with a majority of non-english friends ingame, I just like to understand what's being said.
I posted here wanting to know why on earth this mechanic needs to be in at all, let alone at the disadvantage of a large number of players. The only replies I seem to have got are from .... people who are saying "This problem doesn't affect me but I think you should **** or quit game". Really if you don't have a problem with things why even read this let alone reply, it's not your problem!

don't want a server with more non-english speaking

I see you have registered to use the forum since 2005. When was the last time that you see a forum moderator explaining game mechanics to players when they QQ?
This is where you are wrong again. This AA exchange time restriction effects me also, if you read my posts again. I won't be able to purchase AA during weekday or weekends when I work. But I find ways to get around it, rather than blaming on the time restriction being put in place to keep the AA economy intact.
So I already said it before, you can setup buy shop. It is 24/7 with no amount limit of AA allowed to be purchased; as long as you have the adena. I also just thought of another way. If I ever do need AA, I'll get my friends that are in that time zone to buy it for me and repay them back. If all those doesn't work, I can always farm them myself in a cata/necro :)

Here's another great option Ferine. We've given you multiple different options, and you've complained about all of them. Either accept this one, since you claim to have "so many friends on this server" that you don't want to leave, or stop complaining because you are getting no where denying any form of viable help. Changing the server times for AA exchange or pvp events is not going to happen. They are already at the prime time for the server locations.
The times aren't "prime time" on chronos, Chronos has a much more even spread time acccording to the server statistics. The Chronos "peak" is pretty much always flat from 7/8pm gmt to 3/4am gmt with slight peaks at random times but nothing out of 2% increase or drop. Chronos' Peak is almost always the same as Naia's peak, but doesn't drop off as quickly. There are great increases from 10-12 gmt and 2-4gmt every seconds weekend, but it's chear what that is.
Another thing that is staggeringly clear is that 2nd slot siege on Chronos ALWAYS has 15-20% less players, a massive drop of of 500 logged in accounts. Naia always has the same amount for each siege.
So if the data shows that Chronos has more of a plateau than a peak, with the first slot siege participation massively outnumbering the second slot participation and peak LOW activity at 4-10am GMT..... why have timing set to sell things from 2-6am GMT when half of that time is PEAK LOW rather than peak high? With those figures how can you argue that European players aren't a huge chunk of the Chronos population when Chronos' peak time starts at exactly the same time as Naia's peak time, both in euro playtimes. During "American play time" Chronos population rarely ever rises and sometimes actually falls.
Now to everyone argueing for no reason.
I posted this because me and most of my friends ingame have a problem with this. If you don't have a problem with it how about you don't fing post?! The community here really has spiralled down, everyone so bored they have to troll against people who have an issue?
I'm not asking for freebies, I'm not asking for anything made easier or to change TW times etc. I just was saying to "NC" about the mammon AA exchange time limit. 1) Why Does the mechanic have the be there at all, and 2) Can't you even just extend it by 3 hours to make it better for everyone and more fair.
in this scenario, 60 aa goes into circulation from an npc, not from mob drops and over time(u need to grind for 1hr to get aa where as 1 sec from npc)
scenario 2:
75-25 split extension 3hrs
in this secnario 75 aa goes into circulation from an npc.
this DEVALUES the aa by 15 or roughly 20%
this is because as more ppl have it, less ppl need it, price goes down.....
i know simplistic explanation and many more factors involved, but thats the real reason. If u gave it to every one no one would buy and sell aa ne more.
solution:
i have one. I'm willing to deliver ne amoount of aa /day for a 10% delivery fee. I have 28 a grade toons, so i can get 14mil aa/day so how about it? u want ne at 4.4 ?

Hey I'll take AA at 4.4 thanks, you got 40mil of it, what's your ingame name I'll pm you? :)
I disagree with your logic although it makes sense without considering other factors. At the moment I think it's more like 30% can 70% can't or don't buy. The 30% who can buy though buy all they can get their hands on since it will make them a nice profit each day. If 100% of people "could buy AA" they'd only buy what they needed so there would probably still only be a 30% or less purchase and the same amount of AA would still enter the market. The price wouldn't drop below 4 AA per either way so cata farmers could still make profit farming AA. The sale of AA was put there in the first place to soft cap the price of AA anyway, not to let people make profit from trading with an NPC.
To my logic it still doesn't answer the question of why the restrictions need to be at those times and why can't things cover peak times, considering the statistics.
What we have a problem with is someone like you, bringing 100% complete negativity and throwing around false accusations of "racism" or that NCWest "doesn't care" on the forums. We don't need posts like these cluttering the forums in a time like this. We want the forums to be clean and invitational so new players attracted by ^F are more inclined to play.
As to your graph, there are no timestamps on the website. Yours are added into the graphs and could be altered however you please. Sure Chronos has a pretty steady incline compared to naia's steep dropoff, but that does not change the fact that this is a NA server hosted in AUSTIN Texas, not europe. The AA times were chosen, there is already plenty of AA flooding the market. We do not need to extend the time, or move it at all. You have other options, utilize them or keep wasting your time whining about it. Up to you.
The graph shows no information about NA/EU 'accounts', only history of each server (online) population. I could also argue that the peak population are actually NA (account) players logging onto Naia , or it could be 85/15% NA/EU accounts logged on Naia and Chronos... etc... +numerous of other possibilities; since there are no detailed information about the 'accounts', any of it can be a wild guess. Maybe it's a curse that I am a scientist lol, but sorry... that graph just doesn't do it for me ^^
Now to everyone argueing for no reason.
1) Why Does the mechanic have the be there at all, Can't you even just extend it by 3 hours to make it better for everyone and more fair.
Have you think things through before you ask/say them? Because it helps to get people to agree with you rather than against you, as you are searching for approval here with all your posts. Also, positive always trumps negative if you want something ^^
So if NC extend the time by 3 hours for Chronos, will they have to do the same for Naia too? Pretty sure it will be a yes, because it will not be fair for any NA accounts/players on Naia if they didn't. But extending the exchange time by 3 hours on Naia is not going to help all the NA accounts/players. So what will NC need to implement to make it "better and fair" for those people, as well as and not crash the AA/adena economy?
If you have a solution to all of them+other unforeseen issues, 'possibly' NC would hear you out :) But badgering is not going to help, since we're not Koreans  lol :p
add: oo there are more graphs after I posted lol. Yet again, the graph shows nothing except the online population; not NA vs EU accounts logged onto Chronos/Naia in the timeline. I can also interpret the Typical Day graph @ ~9.30pm (peak) to 4am GMT - Naia server population dropped off, so the decrease in population (~200) during that time on Chronos server are EU players. I'm sure it's not true, however since there's no other support information to prove it absolute wrong; the statement can still be true. Therefore, EU players are <0.08% of Chronos's population... lol
Why does there need to be timestamps, theres graphs of activity of the server over the past month, showing clearly siege periods and maintainence. How on earth can you edit maintenence or siege times on your own accord? The data shows the amount of people playing at each collection of data, not shops. Regardless if they are Euro players or Insomnicac Americans, they are still people playing. Check the data source yourself. http://www.lineage2.es/misc/retail.php
The only reason I'm still here badgering on instead of leaving the thread waiting for any official response if because all the replies from a small amount of non-affected/bothered argumentative people argueing against me. I'm not badgering to NC I'm badgering to you guys to defend my point. Stupid really since internet forums are the only place where logic, reason and statistics can be argued against with "noob, ****, ****". I admit my calls of discrimination etc were a bit too far, but the problem still lies that there is a large disadvantage to players from Europe timezones on chronos and the statistics or reasons for the game mechanics don't suggest why the disadvantage should be there at all.
As for positivity and alternatives, I did suggest extend by 3 hours, and that would include Naia too and it would work there. Also you could even move the time forward 2-3 hours on Chronos and that would then have the whole period covering peak times rather than 50% peak/50% low.

You only covered the time bit (hopefully it works for all players on both Chronos and Naia), but what about the economy bit? I'm trying to help you here lol. Ok here's a suggestion to not crash the economy with the extended time... decrease the 500k aa exchange to 100k aa  will you be ok with that? :D

It won't crash the economy at all, as I explained before. If someothing is less avalable people will buy as much as they can, if something is more available then people will buy what they need. Either way the exchange has been put there delibarately to lower price of AA, not let players make a profit from NPCs.
Also you could move the time forward 2-3 hours on chronos as I said before, same time window.

It's only your word saying that it won't crash the economy. if something is more available then people will buy what they need You already described a crashed market there already. The exchange has been put in place to 'stable' the AA price. With all the s80/s84 weapons, the demand for AA >>>> supply. The exchange is to try to decrease the gap between demand and supply, it was never about not letting players make profit from NPC.
L2 is a free market and NC have respected that all the time unless there is a need for new players to catch up, then they have to 'update' the game. NC would never control what players can and cannot make profit from, so you got that point wrong as well.
So still a green light for decreasing 500k aa to 100k aa with the extended exchange time? :D
The timestamps are required because we were discussing a specific point in the day - when peak is. You could have written 6am or 6pm on the peak time and posted the graph. And like mcBuff explained, a single graph with only population and no other factors does not count as proof.
If 30% of players (as you say) are getting 500k aa/day, and they increase the time by 3 hours allowing 60% of players to get 500k aa/day, that's doubling the influx of extra AA. The prices are slowly pulling down to 4-6aa, instead of the insane price of 7+.
On the other hand, if they were to move it by 3 hours instead of this 30% it would just be the next 30%. No change. Takes programming to change, and no benefit for the business. not going to happen from a business perspective.

How's it a crashed market when people buy what they need at 4a from the merchant and fermers sell for 3-5a in town? The only sellshops in town would be AA farmers selling for about 4 to people who need more AA than they can buy from the npcs.
Compared to currently where a large portion of players lose out and AA floods the market as re-sellers buy as much AA as they can to make a profit off the unfortunate ones who can't make the AA times.
Seems to me more like current situation = unstable and unfair market where prices bubble and pop dependingon small amounts of demand vs a market where AA farmers set price and it fluctuates based on the farmer market not re-seller profit seeking and hoarding.
No matter the solution it's always going to be a constant circle of supply and demand/ups and downs. Why don't we wait for a couple weeks and see how this influx of 500kaa/day/char actually affects the market? thanks.

Sigh.... seriously do I really have to explain this again  For once, stop looking at the AA exchange for your own personal gain, you might actually understand what you said before = a crashed AA market. Perhaps it's too hard for you to understand it in AA exchange terms, as all you can see right now is that it is 'unfair' to you....
The players' market was, has, and always will be unfair; this happens in RL too, not only in game. If you want the market to be 'stable and fair', you might as well play a communist game or live in a communist country. Understand the cycle of demand and supply, then how the AA goes back into pixel after people spend it via NPC; perhaps you'll see why everyone said your 'fix to EU players' is going to crash the market :)
It's ok if you refuse to read/see what I wrote.
It's not ok that you refuse to read/see what I wrote. Do you still believe that Korean developers would prevent AA market crash on Korean servers by putting (already daily-limited transactions) into the server's prime time?
all this talk about americans / euros. they dont care about australias either ( no aussie server), seiges are on a monday morning when we have to work. aa time ends 5 pm when we knock of work.
Yeah, Aussies get it hard in a lot of games. Choices are either 300-500 ping, or a language you can't read.
With technology these days though, if I needed AA and was at work.. I'd just take lunch, load up my laptop, tether it to my phone, and log in just to get the AA. Rofl.

I'm not thinking of it for my own gain, I just think it's completely unfair to run game mechanics over low activity periods which completely cut out a large portion of the server population due to extremely unsociable hours. Theres no way extending or moving the time limit will crash the market, expecially with the daily limit already imposed. The price will simply cap at 4:1 and player market will be a value below that and will fluctuate and function freely and perfectly fine. If people want AA for less than 4:1 then they'll buy off players who farmed the stuff, mammon will only be used as a backup. NPC purchase of items never messed the game up did it? How about mammon upgdare of weapons etc introduced in C3, never crashed the market did it?
It's not ok that you refuse to read/see what I wrote.
If you bothered to read mine, you won't be replying me with those replies. Let's re-cap ^^ (they are mixed up a bit, but makes it easier to address my reply)
There is a NAIA server (fact and truth)
But not an answer to the question.
It doesn't answer the OP's question either.
Those are all addressed to you not to the OP. I wonder why they don't answer the OP's question...
and there is free server transfer (fact and truth).
But only 20 toons from the whole Chronos can use it since the start of High Five until the server transfer tickets expire. Besides, it's not an answer to the question either.
I would agree with Ferine if he/she posted a thread about why only 20 toons can only be transferred each week. Yet again, it was addressed to you; ofc it doesn't answer to the OP's question.
If you 'read' my previous post which I mentioned, you wouldn't be replying level restriction to me. You don't see/read it that I am totally being sarcastic lol? Here's what I wrote in my 'previous post' which is a likely possibility (as we'll never know if no official answers it) answer to the OP's why.
I believe the time limit set we got 'at the moment' is a restriction on AA flowing through the market, include the level restriction as well (even it's not that hard to get to 61 nowadays lol). The market would crash if there was no 'restrictions' of any sort.
When I first read the post it puts me off when the OP uses the words racist and racism to describe the situation; which I'm sure a lot of others will feel the same way, too. It overshadowed what the OP really wanted to express about the AA exchange, which I am helping him to express his idea to make it easier for people to accept; rather than people (like me) telling him to **** off to Naia :p
Then to answer your post about level restriction. There 'might' be some S grade mains using their A grade to make money. NCKR always puts a bandage to 'fix' things, it's not new news. Nevertheless, if you bother to check/read how much S gems (AA) are needed for all the s80/84 crafts and SA where everyone is trying to get; then change it into time needed to gather all if AA is only exchanged with adena (IF the player got enough adena) via the mammon. As well as, considering that Dynasty is no longer s80 but s76, which give those players some time to gather AA @ A grade till S grade; then assuming not all player @ 76 uses Dynasty but the old s76 ****, that would require AA too.
Let's see... It takes 623 S gems to SA a Vesper Cutter, which equals 62,300,000 AA. Let's assume that person got 2 accounts with 14 61+ toons, that will be 7mil AA per day. It would take approx 9 (8.9) days to gather all the AA it, IF that person got 249,200,000 adena for it. There's also another S84 weapon, ì¸ì¸ì¨í¸ì½ì´ ìë (I think it's Elegia sword in English); it requires 2022 S gems for SA, which will be 202,200,000 AA. It will take approx 29 (28.9) days and 808,800,000 adena to gather all by exchanging with 14 61+ toons only. I'm glad I don't have to worry about that right now lol.
Before the AA exchange, all AA come from mob drops (seal stones) with a set spawn rate. It also has no effect on gain/loss adena in the game system. All AA buying/selling are only adena cycling within the players' inventory. Now with the AA exchange, it's a good adena sink; since **** we all need SA on our weapons lol.
Do you still believe that Korean developers would prevent AA market crash on Korean servers by putting (already daily-limited transactions) into the server's prime time?
If you 'read' destructor's posts, you will see that not all Koreans play at the same time. Also, if a sudden huge flow of AA goes into the market, it will crash the AA market and amount of adena in the game system as well. There are players that sell AA to make adena, and I used to be one of them before my toon was too high level for cata/necro >.< It is more acceptable when the market goes down like an escalator till the AA market saturates (keep in mind about the adena as well), as it gives time for the players to adjust to the change. But when it goes down like a roller coaster, all (yes, all) players will suffer.

It's really late and I already gave some examples of what you said here in the one I just posted not long ago. About the NPC purchase of items, I already said it before in one of my previous post about game 'update'. I will add to the post when I get time after zzzzz ^^
I actually made pretty good money hunting catas. I think they should solve the problem by removing the aa buying all together. That way everyones happy, or at the very least equally unhappy.
Wouldnt want all those evul people that live in the GMT+1 time zone to think we hate them after all. <3
If you bothered to read mine, you won't be replying me with those replies. Let's re-cap ^^ (they are mixed up a bit, but makes it easier to address my reply)
Lol, if you had bothered to read and understand your own posts that you are quoting here...
Those are all addressed to you not to the OP. I wonder why they don't answer the OP's question...
Cool. Those are all were the quotes from your original "answer" to the OP, which you provide to me trying to show me how that answer to the OP question was "true". And as you might already notice, you are not the only one who wonders why they don't answer the OP's question :D
If you 'read' my previous post which I mentioned, you wouldn't be replying level restriction to me.
Why not?
You don't see/read it that I am totally being sarcastic lol?
So what?
Here's what I wrote in my 'previous post' which is a likely possibility (as we'll never know if no official answers it) answer to the OP's why.
And you got it wrong. That's why I was replying to you.
Then to answer your post about level restriction. There 'might' be some S grade mains using their A grade to make money.

I don't see how it answers my post about level restrictions.
If you 'read' destructor's posts, you will see that not all Koreans play at the same time.
But their server populations do have prime time. While Chronos doesn't really.
Also, if a sudden huge flow of AA goes into the market, it will crash the AA market and amount of adena in the game system as well.
Their "sudden huge flow of AA" will not really be much more huge if there were no adena buying windows. Maybe 20% more max.
So, actually what the window introduces is a huge "non-flow" of adena=>AA on Chronos compared to Korean servers and Naia. Chronos adena sink will be two times less efficient than designed.
There are players that sell AA to make adena, and I used to be one of them before my toon was too high level for cata/necro >.<
So, they will sell their adena @5a instead of selling them @7a-8a as in CT2 (and @3a-4a as in C5 lol).
It is more acceptable when the market goes down like an escalator till the AA market saturates (keep in mind about the adena as well), as it gives time for the players to adjust to the change. But when it goes down like a roller coaster, all (yes, all) players will suffer.
Just the opposite, actually.
You are speaking about deflation here. A long period of deflation is really bad for the economy (especially the game economy where the stuff doesn't generally rot when being stored). The rapid drop and fast stabilization of the prices would be much more healthy.
