sorry i rather spend 3 hours at a raid then 17 hours total and half those hours failing!

It's a 3 hour buff that is the exact same as a 3 hour nevit. You get it from the Nevit's Herald that spawns in every town
So it doesn't put a hold on the hunting bonus, just the rec bonus :(. Is the Nevit's Herald only spawned after the slay, because I ran around a few towns looking for it. Hard to find something when you have no idea what it looks like, though.

He does spawn after the Antharas is killed in each town, he stays ingame for exactly 3 hours. It does stop your Nevit's Blessing (in case you already had it on "Quit", it will change to "maintain" with a percentage according to amount of your recommends).
You will not loose this buff when you die, only way to get rid of it => change sub.
Best is to use it for 2;45, change sub, take it one more time so you can take it one more time. The NPC does't allow you to take his buff if you have some sort of a Nevits potion (that Maintain your Nevit's countdown) including his own buff that you get from him.

Thanks for the info Myst. I wish there was a way to put a hold on the new hunting bonus :P. I'm new so no subs for me yet but that's okay, 3hours is a great hold especially if it sticks through death. Is the antharas slain message a global notification?

You can "pause" it by logging out as I did on my alts, just take the buff, logged out so I will spent it later.
And yes, there was a global announcement like when you get when fighting some raidboss (Looting rules are no longer active or similar messages)

Fully buffed, walks around critting people for 10 to 20 million dmg. 1-2mil dmg just on typical shots..
Runs around and shoots a few raid bosses a few times and drops them easily. I beleive i found a screenshot in which he managed to one shot a number of them..
At that time Antharas wasn't that difficult either with proper gear.. and top it off... the chronicle favored archers greatly even if he wasn't a hawkeye.... a ghost sentinel was insane with that kind of bow.
Mind you even if it was on the Official PTS..... it still was officially done :p

The maximum oe on weapon on legal server is +23. You cannot oe over 23. Stay away from the private server. You might thought it was pts, but it doesn't look it.
Cool story. Never saw weapon like this on PTS. Still looks like lol-private-l2.
happened a few years ago .... twice in a row :eek:
pts went live, some ppl 'hacked' into it and created those insane weapons and stuff :rolleyes:
ncsoft was forced to take pts down again shortly after it to fix it :D
You rly think he clicked 65k times to enchant this? If that is PTS GM made that weapon. Or it is illegal weapon //ninja add

You might thought it was pts, but it doesn't look it.To connect to private server You must edit host and/or l2 system. I think you cant connect to private server by mistake.
We have direct link and server connection to the official PTS. By you telling me that you have to edit the host and/or l2 system, that tells me right away that it's not an official PTS. Or are you saying since you didn't edit the host, you couldn't have logged on to the private server by mistake? be clear on that.
However, you might also have downloaded the client for private server thinking it was an official PTS.
Going back to the subject, we do have some +23 weapons on our servers you know. lower grade though, but when it's on 23, no matter how you try to oe it, you just can't oe anymore like when you try to oe your skills.
When you have +30 on 2nd lvl skills or +15 on 3rd lvl skills, it just doesn't allow you to oe anymore. Same with the weapons and armors.
We also have a charts showing the numbers of highly oe'd weapons on each servers so that users know how many are on each servers.
That chart only shows up to 23.
We also had many events on Radio broad casting server(which you guys don't have), which they have event once a while for couple of days. They usually give you max lvl charcters with lots of adens for you to feel what it's like to be high lvl on those events. You get chance to buy many items of your dreams and oe like crazy on sklls and gears during those couple of days just feel and study what it's like. I had an opportunity to max oe on during those event and wasn't able to oe more than 23. so don't give this bu** shi* about hacked item or gm created item. Whatever you see is not from the official server. Max oe on the weapon is 23. period.

Maybe possible on private server, but is impossible on the official server. He claimed he got that screen shot from the legit server. He claimed he never played on the private server. I posted a reply to inform him that on the official server, the max oe is +23. Therefore even though he thinks he must have been on the legit PTS, I was saying that he wasn't. Such a weapon doesn't exist on legit server. What part of that you don't understand and bashing about it?

We have 3 types of posters here:
1. Adults who know how to have a discussion on an issue.

I just had a conversation with the GM and discovered that there's no limit on the oe on the gears. So technically +65000 oe is possible, but not realistic.. of course that was a hacked item.
Like I have mentioned, we have a chart that shows the numbers of oe'd weapons per server and it only shows up to +23, therefore all this time I was under an impression that +23 was the max oe you could have on the weapon. Well, I was wrong.
I am sorry that I was wrong about what I though I knew was the truth.
Looking at the code lvl of it... enchants should be able to surpass +23 easily... it's just pretty **** hard to enchant stuff that high.
Top it off, there doesn't appear to be any "sub code" that makes it impossible to enchant beyond that..
Additionally, the bit limit of enchanting appears to be +65535.... it's twice that IF they had used +0 as the -65535 starting point.. in which case it would be twice that..
irreguardless..... it's a FACT that a +65000 Carnage bow was on the server... the guy had a pile of fun with it....
there were Dual Blunt weapons and Shields and ITEMS/Equipment that we have never seen in the game before showing up during that time. HOWEVER these items while IN the game, having an item ID and evertyhing, they weren't enabled.
i also found him in Dwarf village and recorded him using buffs and such that i know a dwarf couldn't give lol.. and then he was saying strange things in chat... looked like commands...

Any prove of your words? Recently on RU servers happen a bug allow to enchant with like 95% chance and ppl make weapon more than +23. Yeah, server was returned to state before bug but anyway it's possible to make more than +23 (but with crazy low chance).
Also As I know on one of RU servers exist AQ+11 but to make it, owner spend ~$50k in item shop to get enogh crystall and brilliant scrolls (one of them dont drop OE in case of fail and second one dont fail at all).
