what does this mean ?
i cant say it personally affects me but when i read the changes i (perhaps incorrectly) thought they were aimed at discouraging feeding.
until i went to get matches out the way - toon with 9 points v toon with 64, so i thought oh "similar" must mean within the same 100 - then i saw a toon with 20 something pts v one with 290 ish.
is it simply that u will be matched to someone with the nearest pts that signs at the time u do ? What was this change intended to do ?
I think the system check the number of avaiable people too.
for example if there are 11 people in the same range of points 10 will fight each other and 1 will fight anyone that is avaiable no matter the points the oponent have.
from what i figured out (and i might be totaly wrong) the oly system checks the players with similar point and put them together. However when a player does not have any competitors with similar points he will be totaly randomed to players with higher or lower points than him. so assuming 4 players participate with 5 , 21 , 22 and 100 points each the system will put the players that have 21 and 22 together and the one that has 5 with the one that has 100.
Its wrong in a way but gives you better chances than before (i think but still in doubt)

No, but unless they have an exact date/time they cannot check anything from this post on forum. Do what he said entering at least some timeframe when did it happened to you so they can check what exactly was happening at that time.

Sace that is not funny for players who have 30 points and fighting with farmer with 700 pts++++
Someone from stuff needs to explain us , how system works. It does happen a 20 point char to get a 300+ points opponent. So can u officialy give us players feed back about how this new game update works??

imho you can't control who you will fight in oly especially during the last few days of the month; after you got ported out and signed up again for next match, you will almost instantly get the 120s message again.
the new oly system is great imho but sometimes you can still get the short end of the stick by fighting oly farmers with many points. :p
yes is better than before,but isnt perfect now as we have to expect after update.My sugestion is to let farmers fight with farmers after they rich for example 200 pts,if they couldnt find oponent at the time let them w8 until somebody comes(they w8 anyway to get points from noobs),i wish farmers will fight with farmers and we can watching this and learning.

Once I tried Oly in the end of week and ended up fighting a bunch of enforcers in a row. Guess what, they all did not have too many points at that moment, as they were just starting to participate. That is, quite a few farmers deliberately refused to play Oly for a while to keep themselves low on points, so that they could farm the remaining easy opponents first.

so why us ppl with 20 points cant wait for other 20 pointer i dont know
what they should have done is...
when group lets say 30 ppl formed up
25 low points 5 enforcers... instance zone... should've wait for 26th low pointer and let 5 enforcers wait for 6th enforcer...but we all know that there are waves and this waves consist of 20-30 ppl sign up at the same time...and they call instance a small room where 20 ppl gather up and no matter if u weak or strong u will face each other!
so system is broken!

you can still push waves based on 10 signings, as long as you understand how to do it. feeding is also still possible.
the point matching works as intended, but the thing that ths system doesnt take into consideration is when there is an odd number of high pointers in a wave. if there is an odd number of high pointers, 1 of the high pointers will get a low pointer (whichever one has the highest pts) by default.
im surpised one clan hasnt tried to screw opposing oly farmers by mass signing low pointers, because anyone going for a contested hero knows that +1 pt matches hurt.
