I started at here on retail cos i was tierd of playing with my char and need to say or write every single minute: Dance, song, cov, agression and bla bla bla.
Im lf ppl that know his/her class, and know how to play with it. I dont wanna have to say everysingle move.
Im still low lv, (Im playing here for 3 day's if im not wrong.) lv 42 atm.
I wanna raise fast, cos l2 for me its a pvp game, without pvp its just boring, i come here to have a fullexperience of playing, with mature and no **** ppl.
At start I need to farm, but i hope get some lv fast to start pvp, at least lv 80.
Im Brazilian, i can speak english and understand without a problem, i also speak portguese (really?). Im lf A group of players that use ventrillo or ts, that know how to play with his/her class, that wanna grown fast, and have some fun together!
I also know that i ll have to learn a lot with this new's updates, but i like to think that im a fasterlearning guy. I also have experience as a healer.
Try ElOlimpo, they also laugh with jajaja and I know at least some of them use ventrilo (since they have visited mine).
They seem to know what they are doing, and if I'm not entirely mistaken, they have a similar background as yours.
This will be my only tip to you in this thread, since I actually dislike ppl from private servers.

We currently have 2 new members that are Brazilian joined our clan they don't speak any English lol perhaps you can join us and help communicate with the clan when I am not on for them :) One is going to be a human dagger I forget what the other is going to be they are in their 30's currently.
We have everything we need to become a level 9 clan, we have a clan hall, we have some higher members and some mid level members. We have no wars and are completely legit.

What you are trying to find does not exist on officials. I played private servers for a while and I know exactly what you mean.
People on retail are mostly carebear due to several different reasons, but the people that "know" how to play their char, are usually in the top lvl clans because they have been here for a while. It is not common to have a skilled "new player".
If you are comfortable with spanish I invite you to our forums, god knows we are in search of good BP. In my clan I have a lot of ppl that know how to use their chars, but I also have others who are slowly learning. We are not a "factor" clan in the server but we hope someday we will be able to participate....
Our main strength is that we provide spanish speaking players with a "Hispanic" enviroment which prevents our players from clan hopping. Our biggest weakness is that since we only recruit spanish speaking players, we are limited on the quality of players......

Priv servers are for 2 kinds of ppl:
1. Poor
2. Lazy
I dont see how any of those would promote skillfull playing of a toon.

Most of us have played mid / low rate servers 100% free of bots with NO BOXES allowed, where every player is LIVE...... If you ever play like that you will learn the real definition of TEAMWORK. Any end game legit player on this server would not be where he is without his boxes......

Bottom line, ppl that cant play retail, play priv servers.
As I dont play illegal servers, I guess I cant really say if they are better or worse than us.
I shall have to take the word of ppl who have played such illegal servers, I guess...
Yeah.... dont get me wrong though... MOST private servers SUCK....... but some have pretty decent rules.......
Most people that play those servers do it because of cultural difference (their culture tells them that there is no way they will pay for a game), or because of just plain ignorance. L2 barely has any marketing strength in the US, they have 0 marketing in South / central america or many European Countries....... Most ppl don't even know that retail exist, might be able to find the official website but if they dont speak / understand english thats it....... they dont even have installation instructions in their own language.....
