Okay, how did they do this? I thought only in Korea players could use unicode symbols on titles/chat.

It is posible using 3rd party software. This person will propably get ban ;p
This happen after Kamael update when players for few days was able to write any symbols in chat. :)
Oh, lol, I like his title though, very artistic. :p

I still have no idea why NCSoft disabled this feature, by the way - it was really nice to be finally able to write in proper German, Polish, Russian and Greek.

It's not like people write any less in those languages now, they just have to use ugly transcriptions.
People of every nationality should be free to use their language's symbols.
I'm greek and its a shame I have to write on greeklish

If they start policingthe insults that happen in greek/german/spanish/whatever, then sure. But if they don't want to do that then why should the language be supported? :p

He could still have the title since when the unicode was enabled, so lets not jump to conclusions...

I think most ppl would enjoy L2 more if no greeks nor russians tried to type in their own language instead of english.

So stop trying, just use english pls.

This could be a bit hard, seeing as we had a server merge since then ...
we can use those, you just need a keyboard which can make those symbols.
i had attempted to download an on screen keyboard, but they all wanted money :(

oh? wait, they disabled that?
it's been a while since i read about it... and haven't seen it in a while...

Most ppl ARE Greeks or Russians lol

Imposible

You think he had excatly same title for years, didn't change/leave clan?
btw. after server merges my title was removed so...
And you are 100% sure that everyone's title was removed?

Either way, there must still be a way to do it I guess.

You thinking it's only possible to do using 3rd party programs just shows how intimate you are with 3rd party progs.

I bet the guy is legit and found some other way to do it :D
if you had unicode characters in a macro from that week unicode was enabled, you can still modify that macro today and use it to make titles

you can't input new unicode characters, but you can still edit them and make title macros etc.

no.. it could be possible.

And no, titles were not removed after server merge - all of mine stayed.

I think most people have no idea what they would have to endure if all those greeks and russians tried to type everything in english.

You do have a point. Maybe it is better they just type their random letter stuff and we are none the wiser.
