they should hire someone for summer positon to update the site....

I found some time to work on the site so I should have the armors updated to High Five by Saturday. I have the database almost completed, just need to get the armors sets done before I upload the new data.

Actually, she is. She updates the events and the news, which is what Community Managers do. The meat of the website, game information, is done by the Web team (on which this position (http://tbe.taleo.net/NA5/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=NCSOFT&cws=1&rid=793) is available).

She can take our feedback to that team, but actual site content outside of community updates is really out of her control. I think she's mentioned that somewhere before.

I would had applied to that job, but I'm afraid that I live on the other side of the pond and NCSoft won't hire anyone that can't work in their offices.

They are not forgotten, my new scripts should fix that once I get it to auto update the armor set database as well ;)

If I ever see this game's site updated, I think I am going to cry. Community has been complaining about this before I even start playing. Personally, I gave up hope.

NC sold the publish rights to prima guide. So unless they buy it back, we never get an updated site again.

That was the answer a german fansite admin got from NC (asking for official data for the german site) a couple of years ago.

Dunno if its true .. but its a cool story anway ^^.

Sace and her predecessor CM's have all stated that getting the website updated has been a priority. Either they dont have the personnel or they are too busy fixing their latest screwup to ever put forth an real effort to update the library to the latest patch information. "Never" is the new "soon".

yea thats true, maybe we can get an answer from Sace if NC-NA still has the publish rights, or bought it back from Prima in C5 :) .. the Prima Guide wasnt that bad back in those days, but i doubt they make a new one ^^.
