I would like to request you, that create an event to Help for the Japanese peoples who received the effects of catastrophes (Earthquake, Tsunami, Nuclear alert). My idea to this event the next:
Create an item package example with 10 revita pops and a special event item and make it available to every users who have active accounts to buy this package once (maybe more times too) for 2 Dollars. By this 2 Dollars priced packages you give 1 Dollar to the NCJapan who may send this money to a Japanese rescue team or in any form share this money between the Japanese Lineage 2 players.
Why is this event useful to You, to us and to them?
- It is a useful marketing idea to the NCsoft, good promotion in the media, good promotion to the peoples at world wide, get some extra money earring, can test in our region the micro transaction system and what is the most important can help to their players or upcoming players in Japan!
- It is useful to us, because some extra items and extra XP all times good!
- It is useful to the Japanese peoples, because now every help is good help for them they received so many mental and physical damages under these days, this money won't solve Japan's all problems, but can help to Japanese rescue teams, to buy foods and another necessary items to Japanese peoples.

It's against EULA. Game assets can't be sold for real money.
why dont you just donate to an actual relief group that is helping with the quake and stop fishing for ways to buy stupid revita-pops. you are an embarassment to people actually trying to help with the victims.

The revita pop just was an example, They can give some boxes too what if we open we can get randomly item. Or in a lottery form they can give tickets to every peoples who helped and on every servers 3-3 peoples who win get 1-1 full boss jewelry set with the all type of boss jewelry what aren't tradeable items.
Well, I think if the peoples get something good many of them buy than they collect 20-30k Dollars too or if it could be a repeatable event maybe the earrings could be 100k dollar too.
As I know in Asia the peoples build houses from light structure items, as I know this houses build price about 200-300 dollar so from 5-6k dollar too maybe they could build up 20 houses for 20 families.
I can find same sites by myself too, don't need post them.
I had an idea, I wanted tell it, seems here the player not really care about it or just not like help. I heard some months ago, that another MMO game made same event and they could get nice money for help.
I'm surprised how many of you are such ***** in a thread about charity/disaster relief. Its good to see, at least, that people are trying to help outside of those major organizations.

instead of just donating or speading awarness about charity he suggest NC sells some items and splits the proceeds w/ charity.
why should NC get $ and players get items?
if you want to help donate to one of the many registerd nonprofits, go online or get in contact w/ your local redcross on how to send supplys to those in need, hell even find a local religious faction thats planning a goodwill mission to help out overseas and donate some of your time to go help.
there is 1000 ways to help, none of wich involve lineage2.
if you want to make a suggestion to NC suggest that they set up a partnership w/ a nonprofit, link the site here, then match every $ pledged by us.
that way NC is doing somthing for charity instead of making $ selling ingame items and you would be doing something for charity instead of trying to improve your toon for real currency.
This is an incredibly selfish idea. Like posted previously, if you're gonna donate money, do it through other programs. Also, you might as well put up a lemonade stand while your at it, b/c ur not going to raise much money.
The only way to do this event the right way would be 100% of the money went to Japan, none to the greedy NCsoft...

We are not heartless. Japanese peoples have a big problem. But we don't want legalise RMT. We all can go and help via red cross.

This idea is not based on any reality; the true scope of the catastrophe is much larger than any donation coming from this community. Millions will be required to just maintain those impacted by this natural disaster. Many millions more will be needed to clean up the damage. Trillions will be needed to return those communities and businesses to the state they were before the earthquake.
Although the intention to help those in need while benefiting us with some vita pops and giving NCSoft some extra cash may be true to your heart… this would not even buy enough to wipe away the tears.
