I can certainly understand why Dwarven Village is destroyed. It's been hinted at since day one, and now seeing Trasken in all his glory, it makes sense.
The other villages, not so much. But I expect to have that explained away soon enough.

In the game story Shilen ( the goddess of the dark elf race that has been sealed in the seven signe ) is wake up and try to destroy the world. So if the world don't start to be destroyed the story of the game up date , The 4nd class ( wich present the power of encien titan wich was the most powerfull on the world ) to have enought power to fight shilen " i guess she will be pu into a boss soon after the 1st GoD up date " will have no point without real game's world destruction

- Olympiad Games (it will be just from 85+ and with 8 heroes)
- 35 unique classes (it will be they wont merge totally to 8 classes their unique class abilities will available at 85+ too, who use now tyrant gear he will use it in the GoD too as the Warlords and anothers too and they already told, that will be new skills under lvl 85 too.)
- Open instanced zones (you will can see it)
- Free PVP system (u will can see them)
- Political system (you will can see it)
- Fortress Battles (you will can see it)
- Territorry war (almost sure, that you will can see it)

this is not quite fair for those who are not 85 now is it..

this combined with the lower party max to 7 ppl is not going to work and most Enchanters DO NOT like this change, tbh the only class that might like it is PP as it will make their class more likely to get a party invite but those who played OL will not get any Awakened Clan skills so what's the point for them ? Most Bards I know just outright hate the upcoming changes.. so erm there's a lot of room for improvement which I hope will come before Korean PTS is released..

I dont like this new CGI. Compare this CGI with the C5 CGI and you will see that huge difference in Quality.

Alright, lets get clear with this. So you don't care whether there will be 8 classes of 35 right? First example that you don't care about the game. Then you are mentioning unique item, what do you mean by that? Armor sets heavily influenced by Aion, or Weapons which are directly transfered from WoW? If not then always talk/write in a specific way/manner for the reader to understand your thoughts. Next, you stated that you don't care about party size either, and thats already a second reason which acts against your opinion that you care about the game.
Now who says that L2 shouldn't follow its storyline? I think you didn't really understand me. The thing for which I'm disappointed is how Lineage 2 Team has developed it. If you are interested what I mean, check out the topic which I opened in the "Game Suggestions" section of this forum. All of the answers for those features you listed is discussed in that topic. If something's not, feel free to ask.

I care about the game but i just have nothing against the new change thats will come
well guys. 1 thing only sure, we all will only know how will good this Goddess of Destruction when we tried.
Good game the Lineage 2, good game the AION and good game the WoW too, all of them has millions of playerbase worldwide.
All of them work since many years in Pay to Play form what is show they are really good games.
All these three games constantly new features from another games wow from l2 aion from wow l2 from aion etc
May the best system between them the Lineage 2's system, but this game only worked until to pvp and grind. While in WoW dominate the lore, the quests. And you have to know most of the players who plays MMO firstly like the PVE. The Lineage 2 has amazing good story and if now the developers work it to lore play too this will can a good weapon to lure and take players from another MMOs and call back the peoples who liked here the pve, but with time they started bored the grind.
Let's try start thinking about this update in much positive viewpoints, search in it why the new features will can be good.
Ah, and don't cry for the the new 7 members party size, this game not a cooperative game for 9 players, this game is an MMORPG where not only 9 players plays.
Next of them guys don't forget the Lineage 2 is a business too. So, if the peoples won't enjoy in Korea the PTS almost sure, that NCsoft will find the way how they keep the players here and will make changes in the Awakening update or in the next update what will come after the Awakening. And I think if after the live Korean Awakening release most of us won't enjoy the update we can request the NCwest to not upgrade the servers or just upgrade them later when will come after the Awakening a better update.
The City of Heroes could work with out problem, while it didn't get any expansion, update or patch under 2 years and they didn't loose players.
Anyway PTS server down since somedays maybe we will get a GoD beta test?:)
It would be stupid not to upgrade to GoD, no matter good or bad if you wait for another upgrade you gonna get GoD+new upgrade together so you can't avoid changing "perfect world" and is stupid to delay it. Game kinda needed something like this, a total change with same concept, a "new game" with same rules and i am sure NCSoft will come up with idea about refunding back to players that worked on some OE skill or picked an class specially for some reason.
What they need to do is make people not need to sit 12h a day so you can hit top lvls, and those who say "you don't need to is easy, blablabla" are not talking straight. LineAge2 had an huge impact on MMORPG players, and was one of 1 st games that had "better" graphics compared to any other game around (MMORPG offc) that was available back then.
Problem with l2 is still and always will be BUSINESS, just type in how many sites you got where you can buy/sell adena, how many sites you got that you can buy/sell char, and this can't be prevented.
Dunno but i still remember times when you enter catacomb and you have a dwarf with sell shop (room taken) bot trains and parties investing in their project like 300$ and by selling adena and gear before they do get banned they make 3000$. And NCSoft didn't work on preventing l2w (allot private servers did this so NCSoft could to), but then again i understand that part also "more accounts more $$$ income cose those accounts also need to be payed.
There was an explanation of people who said, "bots are good, prices goes lower and who would you make farm 12h in front of PC", well those that actually would sit at pc for 12h and play by hands would have all rights to benefit from that farm. As for "cheap prices" economy on streets balances by the time you need to get some item and by how many people you need to get the item. So if no bots there wouldn't be so much gear available and you couldn't just "oh i got good salary why should i spend time at PC on a nice day, i will just spend 50$ from my 5k$ salary and speed up my economy in game for 15 days compared to legit players"...There is so much to add about this but is already long enough post...
I vote for most of items to be "bind on gearing it up", means no trade no sell just option to upgrade armor, for sure there are plenty of solutions how to prevent game being a business field instead of a game a place where you will "forget" some RL problems and just relax talking to friends on Ventrilo/TS/etc... and playing a GAME and if you need 12h a day to be average and compete with people who are ebaying it stops being a game it becomes a work, a competition that you can't win if you don't got RL $$$.
Once again if plenty of private L2 servers could have prevented ilegal soft's i don't see how NCsoft couldn't do this by now if they really wanted, i mean lol cmon in top clans it become "you don't use Zranger?, nah dude sry you not good enough", even people who don't like it are being forced to use it cose plenty of people are using it and you can't win PvP in 80% of cases (specially mass pvps), cmon scripts with anti back stab, auto reequip weapon etc...when you see what Zranger can do l2w looks like dunno "legit" thing cose is just PvE but Zranger directly jumps in player vs player interaction.
Yes, this video what BoundInPleasure posted was amazing, beautiful. I would see new videos what made in same style. I would see a full movie in this style.
