Sace has stated in his post that two things are being changed, so the files are for that.
A pet quest and an interface change, but that doesn't account for things like armor and weapon group changes (among other things) that were downloaded today. Could just be for fixes that she didn't mention or it could be for the upcoming events. Just speculation on my part, but I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

Ya I had this discussion (more of an argument lol) with like half my clan the other day. GMT is constant, it never changes; however, when countries move to summer time they either move one hour closer or one hour further away from GMT. In the case of England it switches from GMT+0 to GMT+1 for the summer and New York moves from GMT -5 to GMT -4.

Say BST as in British Summer Time.
Don't touch GMT, it isn't useful. Personally I'm on CET/CEST, it's clearer than GMT+1/GMT+2. And Naia is there too BTW. The reference here should be Frankfurt Meridian Time :D

I have given up these discussions, it seems most people just do not "get" time zones. Half of the time, clan announcements write "EST" when it should be "EDT", or "GMT" when they mean "local time in England right now", even though England is using GMT+1 right now, and then of course nothing fits together, people in Europe look up what "2pm EST" is in their local time zone right now, which is of course an hour off then, and then show up at the wrong time.
a short time back when there was daylight saving maintenance, everything in L2 land was an hour earlier to us with gmt for about a week, until we changed to summertime - so presumably at that point everyone was back on an even keel and its adding/deducting hours unnecessarily that causes the confusion.
