A friend and I that played years ago, decided to come resub and see new features.
We both ran into not being able to log into NCMaster account. After bouncing emails with NCSoft he has since given up, and I am still feeling like this password reset is a bit overboard.
I have provided oodles of information about my account and they just respond asking more information. I confirmed the information I sent was correct.
I have provided:
Account holder name
NCSOFT Master account name
Billing Name
Billing Financial information (Card # - Routing # - Acct # )
Date of Birth
Lineage 2 account name
Lineage 2 original serial key
Lineage 2 character names / servers
Lineage 2 activation credit card
Aion Account information
And maybe some other stuff.. just received another email asking for more small details..
I understand the need for account security.. but this is goofy. NCSoft spams me with emails to resub.. now I spend my free time with NCSoft support. From what I understand, NCsoft forced everyone to change passwords at some point? If it was the original password, I would be able to get into it.
I think the security level has reached a level of too many false positives.
On a better note, how is everyone? I have been offline for years.. so Im sure a different crowd. Something about L2 though.. I have a problem letting go of some things, lol!
