Over the time of this game, many accounts have been made, many characters have been created, raised, nurtured and encouraged, many servers have opened and merged, awesome gear has been over-enchanted or broken, raid bosses have died spectacularly or killed defiantly, players have aspired, ascended, defeated, and triumphed! ...and much more, for many more years to come!!
Happy 7th Birthday, Lineage II! :D
And now, Lineage II asks you... What were you doing when you turned 7 years old?
(If you can't remember, make up something fun. ;))
What did I do ?
- I started a bit before Interlude, with a trial accounts. I was playing with my 56k bandwitch, it was fun :D
- I quickly joined a clan, Varuna, since I knew somebody in it. I stayed in from Interlude to High Five
- I leveled my Pony, I played during mass raids (I only miss Valakas as Worldboss I didn't d o), I had the opportunity to do some funny sieges, to be in a "side" during Aria/Lionna
I met incredible players too. I met Elmar. I spent a lot of times on website like L2FFS and EllieBelly.

And I played with my ponies again !
You did all that at the age of 7?? o.O Wow!
I turned 7 on an airplane when I was moving from the USA to France. (At the time, I would have preferred a nice little party with friends, and a chocolate cake, alas...)
I was probably watching Transformers, Gummy bears, M.A.S.K...
Could also be: At a Karate class, starting a new year at school.. hmm.. don't remember.. :P
Hmm...when I was 7 years old I'd watch my brother play L2 and play a bit with an Elven Mystic he made for me, and I also remember I was obsessed with trains back then, I had one that produced smoke and had really cool sound effects. May it rest in peace, v_v.
when i had 7yo
I think i got a cake :) and was with my family and my brother who was 2yo :) and I got my first contact with a computer at +/- 7yo :) that was in 1993 ^^
At 7 years old?
Outside. Riding a bike. Falling out of trees. Getting sunburn. I chased a goat one. Didnt catch him though. Did all that old school stuff that my kids are afraid of.
Hmm when I was 7 : I went to school for the first time.
Watched bunch of cartoons on Saturdays/Sundays.
Was more outside than inside.
Celebrated my birthday in Disney theme park( France) with lots of friends I miss
When I was 7 yo there were few things important for me:
- cartoons
- football
- bike
- sea (I lived near the sea, 500 meters to beach :D)
- and thinking about what will happen in future ;-)
- and the most funny: fighting against my friends using woodstick :D We simulated knights fights :)

This, also add loads of crying over nothing, football aka soccer and also if I remember correctly I had to get a tooth pulled out around that time.
Forgot to mention: Happy Birthday L2, you gave us all a lot of fun and sad times.

Airplane? USA, France? What is this devilry you speak of?
And now, Lineage II asks you... What were you doing when you turned 7 years old?
Reading a schoolbook on Astronomy. Skipping the trigonometry related parts, of course.

Haha gratz :)
Well when I wa 7, i did a lot of bike, I read a lot of Bande Dessines (Tintin, Gaston, Blake & Mortimer, Thorgal) and lots of book, I spent around 3 hours / day in books :D
And I was playing AoE 1 on my uncle computer :)
And I waited a cute blondie girl who were 7 years old at Airport, but I never found her :(
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINEAGE II! Wish you much more years of great game :)

When I turned 7 years old...
As a happy child, played near my home, learned how to drive on bike, built many things from LEGO, played with my first pet - cat :D
I remember that when it was summer - spent much hours in day playing in garden with my brother's little cars (I am a girl but loved machines, hated dolls :P), toys (I had many dinosaurs, crocodiles). When my bro's let me play on Commodore 64 I bet many games - boulder dash, rick dangerous, montezuma, mario bros, giana sisters (those games needed a patience like our 7s quest with guards now, good that C64 was solid, haha xD).
And of course... most of time I spent on drawing, painting, learned how to draw donald duck first then many more things ^^ Colored pencils, paintings was my best friend, since then I love to draw and paint (for example, my avatar was made by me, it's my dragon transformation :D)
So yes, I was happy little girl ^^
At seven years old, that was 1973 and oh did I look cheesy back then! White sneakers, white tube socks with the two red bands around the top pulled up over the calf while wearing green with white trimmed shorts, a baseball style t-shirt, black framed glasses (since thatâs about all there was) and a baseball cap.
If we werenât daredevils on the bikes while riding to Bobâs Party Store to buy Bubs Daddy bubble gum, then it was skateboarding where ever we could â sometimes trying to hitch onto a cars bumper as it went down the road.
Wiffle ball in the park almost every day with daily trips to 7-11 for slurpees and seeing if we could sneak out of there without paying for the one cent piece of candy (and maybe trying to sneak a peek at Playboy while no one was looking) and that was the place to play pinball.
And how about digginâ Tie A Yellow Ribbon Around The Ole Oak Tree, Crocodile Rock, Little Willy, Weâre an American Band, Rocky Mountain High and Your Mama Donât Danceâ¦oh and Live and Let Die! Jamminâ to ABBA, The Eagles, The Moody Blues, ELO, Diana Rossâ¦
And what about sitting on the front porch with your buddies watching the High School girls walk by? And trading baseball cardsâ¦Reggie Jackson, Pete Rose, Willie Horton!
I remember my dad complaining about how gas prices went up to like 37 cents per gallon. We had a brown Dodge station wagon with a rear facing back seat â that was awesome! Especially when chewing gum to spit it out the back window at the car behind ya. LOL
Realizing what the game Pass Out was all about after my parents had a party one weekend.
My neighbor would toss quarters, half dollars and silver dollars into the pool for us to dive for when we got home from schoolâ¦of course weâd jump from the garage roof into the pool.
My initiation into Cub Scouts where we were blindfolded and a story was told about how you had to drink the blood of a bear (Red Kool-Aid) and the eye of an eagle (Maraschino Cherries) and then had to go through the rickets.
Oh man, I remember playing curb ball and you had to be home when the street lights came on and on Friday nights, the coolest of all the ice cream trucks came by around 9:30 at night and that old bugger would tease us kids by pretending he didnât see us and weâd be chasing him for three blocks!
Wow, what a year I hadâ¦easy to remember since that was the year I moved.
So, Happy Birthday Lineage II and here's to great memories of how it was back in the day.
Broke my leg on my new skateboard I got 2 weeks earlier. Needless to say I retired from that profession and the summer to follow sucked because I could not run and swim and do all that fun kid stuff.
Dear L2, Enjoy Day, do net go frozen, do not get lags and have maaaany new payers who will slash all mobs ...again ... again... again... again ....
When I turned to 7 .... bloody hell people should go into past so far ;)
I was sitting in warm house and was thinking what present do I got...
I didn't know that just SOON nature prepared better attraction ever.
It was so call "Winter of century".
All cars/buses/trams/trains were stooped.
After 1 month of snowing and -20 C big cities were looking like polar bases...
Good point was I wasn't forced to go to school.
Simple there were no lessons :)
Those heavy condition not started exactly at mine birthday .. but practical it was special present for me ;)
the summer of my 7th birthday my family spent entertaining a group of my parent's friends who have all since moved away; one of which we recently saw randomly as we were in a shopping mall.
we had a 1981 ford escort that couldn't take much gas cause it had a hole in the tank but it got us to school.
we had "face sandwiches" at my grandma's everyday at lunch (i lunched at grandma's cause she lived beside the school) which were simply a slice of bread smeared with peanut butter, adorned to look like a face by an assortment of carrots, celery, raisins, chocolate chips, cheese or anything else we could use.
I was helping my sister rearrange our new room in the new rent house my parents had moved to and was anticipating the birth of my 3rd baby sister (who was born 3 weeks later ^^)
I remember it was a Saturday (or Sunday?).
No party though :( family didn't believe in them XD
Around 7 I was playing tether ball and stealing quarters from my dads coin stash to play Mario Bros. across at the arcade. Ahhh, the simpler times in life!!
At 7 I started my first year of US school from Korea. I remember being scared and confused. At recess I experienced a "jungle gym" in the playground. Then I learned from other kids the name "monkey bars" and it became clear to me that I was supposed to hang on them like a monkey.
Reference points make all the difference. L2 is an LTR that has its ups and downs but it is what is it is and am I'm still around.
At 7 I played severe Soviet Union Ñhildren toys. A lot of :)
A lot of bike riding at the yard... never wanted go home, but my big brother always told me we gonna make a rocket ride (meaning elevator :D) and I have always agreed to go.
when i was 7 i broke my left hand cause after the 1st SuperMan movie release i thought i can fly like him from the kitchen table :D
Also i was crazy with hammers, small and bigs...one day after dinner when my dad was sleeping i went down where he park his car and i start hiting it with the hammer all arround, thinking that i repair it like mechanics do >.<:p (dunno maybe u at NCsoft hire me as GM,i like hammers :D)
