I been playing 7 years (started on dialup) and never had the lag and DC problems I had in the last 3 weeks. Now i get lag spikes for no reason and DC. Then it wont let me connect to a server for awhile.
Then eventually it redownloads gameguard.des and I connect again.
That file is causing a lot of problems for me lately.
I can't log in it stalls at the server selection screen and i got DCed
Same problem here.
First it happened on April 8th (I missed the Oly time due to that), then it's been fine for 3 weeks, then it happened again yesterday and now today.
Ping and packet loss tests look the same as usual.
However, when I installed SpeedTest (from www.speedtest.net) it showed that my connection speed to www.lineage2.com got cut down to just 1 kB/sec (and less), while it was around 400 kB/sec normally.
I also tried to test connection speed to Chronos, but got an answer "connection host has failed to respond".
Im having the same issues. Bad lag spikes while out grind and my sell shop always disconnects now with 2-3 hours of stting it up. Also when I have been in shop mode for anything longer than 30 minutes the game locks up and I have to restart the game. Gameguard.des loads every time I start L2.
