i played lineage 2 from 2004-2006. i had a few high lvls, mainly a lvl 53 blade dancer and i had about 100mill in equipment. i go to reactivate my account, i log in, nothing but my characters are there. all my gear is gone. what the hell is that.. my account wasnt even active since i quit. i even called ncsoft and they told me it wasnt active since i quit. how did all my gear disappear.. i was gonna come back but i dont think i really want to now, i was expecting to come back to some money that i could reroll with. guess not now.. i was really excited to finally quit wow and join a game worth playing.

I'm afraid, all your gear combined would be worth just a few mil, considering the current prices (unless you had something like Ant Queen ring).
100 mil in adena would be a different thing, though.

btw i was on the server bartz.
your characters were likely deleted in the server mergers that happened in October last year.
dont panic!
what i would do is send a support ticket through this website (Lineage2.com) and ask them what happened to your character and stuff. they will probably want to know when you last logged in, the name of your chars etc etc.

if you reactivate your account now, you gonna get a "hero box" in a couple of days with some nice gear that should give you a good start again while waiting for the support ticket :)
100 mill in equipment back then is probably maybe 20 mill today if even. You have the hero box coming as Harkon said, but if 1 minor set back makes you go like this, not sure you want to play if you're already ranting.
if i recall right.. there have been roughly 3 or 4 Activation periods in which good standing accounts would be playable for up to a week.. and i thought at one point in time a few weeks during one of them... EVEN if they weren't paid for... and showed "inactive".. but playable.
Just like the current period were are in.. every good standing account .. even if your not playing... can be logged in without issue provided the username and password are right.
Top that off with the massive security breaches we've seen... mass reset of passwords.... makes it easier for people to log in and take it all.
And your unfortunately toast because since you haven't played for near 5 years..... you don't know when the gear went missing.... and i find that majority of the missing gear issues occuring during play or shortly after.... so without investing a lot of man hours into tracking back many years worth of database changes pertaining to your specific account..... the overall answer to your issue is..... sorry.... deal with what you have.
Same happened to me. I contacted support threw email and after a few emails i got most of my stuff back. It happened threw the huge server merge. Maybe if its not to late the awesome GM's can help you also as they did me. And for me it wasnt about how much my stuff was worth, but being able to use the stuff i did have again ....sounds like the same for you..i hope GMs can help you.
