Sup everyone. I'm new to the game, purchased my copy today and am starting up on Naia. Just wanted some info on what's good and bad on this server and if there is any lowbie population. If you're just starting up, hit me up in game and we can level together. Name will be Hashi. Going to go Silver Ranger.
The game is hard at start but worth it. Take it easy. Lowbie population is decreasing but some ppl have alts doing the run. Be sure to save every adena you can. Regarding the market and other issues, ill leave it to the pr0s to explain :)

I just wonder if u know that Naia is EU server and Chronos US. Since ur loc USA i think u would have more luck to catch ppl on US server.

Grab your CoVer, and do Solo RB with S grade 300 element weapon.
After few hours you are 40 lvl.
Then get wolf 70+ and with CoV'er go exp in cruma (CoVer outside).
In 5 h you are 53. ... etc.
...
...
Then join const and got Zaken/Frint/Freya farm.

Hashi seriously try find some clan.
Solo is boring and very inefficient unless you are Pr0 as I described.
Get some clan join academy and take all quest what are advised by newbie helper.
Try find some fellows, to be SR 76+ solo is DAAAAAAAAAAAM hard :)

Welcome to Lineage 2! The thing I found to be the most important is don't be afraid to ask questions to random people. I've found 90% of players are very nice / helpful to newbies.
Oh yea and I picked Naia because I heard there is one clan that owns the US server and everyone is always complaining on the boards. The time zone won't bother me.
