Graphics ?

Hello all,

Somewhere i readed that ncsoft gonna improve the Graphics of the game . Is that realy true somebody knows something about this ?

As far as we can see, they are uglifying it.

i thought they were using the same modified UT engine that tera uses, might be wrong tho

far as i have plucked out of the GOD korean client... (which isn't much as the encryption and **** kinda hinders it)...

looks like it's using an updated version of the same engine.... brings it up to full dx9.0a/b/c spec though from the looks of things.. which means they could start using a little better performing graphical effects and such.. (which appear to be in heavier use...)

But who knows.. it could be mearly an improved engine to make use of the newer card functions... and nothing more.. (default to shader 3.0 perhaps if it's indeed DX9.0c vs the orginal unreal 2 engines dx8 1.0-1.4 support)

either way we aren't going to know much yet..... i have my doubts it'll be updated to unreal 3.0 or better..... but most likely just stick with the unreal 2.x engine...

I'll take any improvements they've got. :)

oh indeed... i'm quite looking forward to seeing how exactly things have changed in overall game performance....

Yidao or Var or annyone else testing on pts now:

Could u show us a couple screens, like from the new armors if u dispose of them

and in particular this ; could u show a picture of a dwarf in Dynasty/Vesper robes and Dynasty/vesper Light armor please ?

And last question, are they useing soft body technology like in Tera or not ?

i would just like to say, i find the new R weaponry to look pretty nice.

in particular two weapons really stand out as exceptionally done (to me)
