edited to add: after having paid for 3 transfers (devianne to Lionna) i lost my money in merges. losing my characters in some distrought sense of doing the server a favor by making it clean will make everyones push-to-80 for nothing.

Don't wipe the old servers but leave them at High Five. Start GoD on a new server. Leveling will be faster in GoD, so starting from zero is not a major problem. And when traditionalists like me get bored at lvl 85 in High Five after a few years, there is always the possibility of a paid transfer to the GoD server. Lots of money for NCsoft :D

Leveling faster only means you will end up broke with no gear at the higher levels.

S gear sold in stores, crystallizing yields items as well as crystals, and R grade still crafted by dwarfs.
with S84 becoming S80 it will mean Dyn, moirai, vesper, vorpal and elegia will be dirt cheap. i have my doubts that a fully elemented +6 masterwork vesper noble set will be worth 1b at that point.
i have trouble seeing anyone ever using elegia in the first place.
after all, daily questing to 85. maybe you can do 1-85 in 46 days. 3 hrs for 1-40, daily quest after that for 45 days.
we dont know the quest rewards yet, but maybe it will be adena and exp. with vitality affecting drop rate too, maybe its a good idea to be a dagger and steal a ton of the 20k adena S grade keymats for a skyrocket adena pile.

i understand the term dynasty crusher refers to a weapon, however i fail to see what is so special about it.

moirai can be crafted. as can vesper. so dynasty crusher is used by a dwarf to get mats, then.
vorpal can be quested for and gotten in the Oly so unless the Oly is farmed by destros with rush impact and frenzy for 1hits i see little point in maximizing crit potential via blunt when clearly most anything would do just fine for this purpose.
elegia can be had by freya raid, and from what i understand 3 destro parties arent purely the "raiders" involved. Raiding for Vesper seems a bit silly given a bugged tiat and the availability of vesper already.

Ok, I think I can come up with a better guess than that.
Dynasty crusher has Risk Focus SA. Making it a really good weapon on Frenzy/Zealot Titans during raids. Raids is the main source of the high end armors, as u can see in Giran/Aden on both servers, not alot of ppl are crafting anymore.
The dynasty crusher recipe, from what I remebmer, can only be gotten from Hellbound quest. Making them somewhat harder to come by than the other weapons. Hence why dynasty crusher today is still priced high, while other dyn weps dropped in price.
so although all kinds of armor and weaponry will come down in value, this weapon will not?
You missed the point. All kinds of armor and weaponry come down in value so fast only because this particular weapon is avaliable on our servers to so many clans.
On new/wiped servers, it won't be available for a while, and then it will be available only to a couple of top clans, which won't be willing to share it.
