6-9 months :) im really looking forward to this update.. im one of the few. i think the new classes and max lvl 99 will be pretty awesome, new skills and new animations and new movement methods :)
I voted 6-9 months but really anytime after I get 85 100% is ok for me. Would be nice to be a little more even with the enemy for a few days until the hardcore players pull far ahead.

Thats why they did it, so everyone will fell on the same lvl with the same skills with no weaker/stronger player of your class just bcos of some skills ! it still be different cos of the Race, but still, you just crying cos yo bit... *** is probbly Playing Titan and u happy that u can take off duelist on the PvP, wee that will be gone so it all can be fair ! if you dont like it, Leave, but 100x more will come !
actually you're pretty much forced to do a class change with the significant difference in power between 4th classes and awakening classes... e.g. 40str -> 80+ str... that's gonna be a more than 100% difference, and looking skill powers (32k power stab compared to the current dual blow @ 11234 and lethal blow @ 5773... lol)
tbh I think it's gonna take some getting used to, and in the end it *will* be easier to balance the classes... so basically we will have the following result:
- strong classes get relatively weaker
- weak classes get relatively stronger
- due to the overwhelming majority of people playing strong classes, we *will* have whining...
- and to clarify something: support classes should not directly imply being weak at pvp/pve, they by themselves should be as strong as any other classes if all self buffed.
I voted 6-9 months since that seems to be the standard so far. I do have a suspicion though, that this time it might be earlier than usual. The reason is that a lot of players are already 85/80/80/80 and even more will be in the next 3-4 months. If something new doesn't come along fast they may start canceling subscriptions.

Using caps doesn't make it true. They already said in an interview that it would be pointless to keep on 3rd class. Patchnotes confirm it.

I'm wondering how olympiad will go if buffers are getting merged ._. I mean buffer classes will be like full buffs (and i mean it) and other classes with normal oly buffs ? :D

It's not the change of power between 4th classes and awakened classes (as the lvl 1 toons are created already with those 80+ STR). It just the overall change in the scales of the stats, which allowed NC devs to rebalance the stats of different races without getting into +0.5 CON or -0.5 DEX.
How much RL money you want to bet on this claim?
IMO it will increase globally, but NA/EU servers will stay the same or drop in population, because NA/EU servers do not have any advertising... so it's dependent on player recommendations, which NA/EU players seem not to want to recommend GoD, so it will probably mean more ppl quitting than joining...
if they don't do some serious advertising it will only go down, this trend is already noticeable right now with more players leaving then new ones starting..

What does advertising have to do with L2? And how the heck are you planning to keep those poor suckers who would fall for the L2 advertising (had it ever been done)? Those who like grind games have most propably either tried L2 and just left, or went for private servers (as the retail servers make you want to howl most of the time). Many of the old players, who are currently at cap or very near do not see a single bit od appeal in GoD. Most I know are on the verge of quitting. Why? Simple. There isn't a single bit of information that would make me WANT to be in GoD asap. There isn't a single bit of information that makes me want to play GoD in the long run even. And you want me to RECOMMEND it to others? No, thank you. I'd rather not ******** other players.
Auction House is exciting. Plus any graphical enhancements of any kind. I heard that the other races were going to get individual fingers like the Kamael have. Dunno if it's true though.
